Much better from Kennedy and Heathcote this week, good quick ball flying out and some good kicking They look vey composed and Connacht will tire if they have to keep defending like this.

Not the most exciting game...both teams hold onto the ball anf not really get anywhere until they mess up!

Yes Edinburgh gone off the boil after a good start. They were lucky there that Connacht did not back themselves and put in a pretty poor grubber. Someone needs to score some tries to win this game

Our defensive line is so passive - they make ground do easily, no blitz at all.

Yup - no line speed. Self destruct in the scrum too.

Our pack is completely unrecognizable from last week - where's the fire in their bellies that dominated Munster??

If Connacht could catch the ball then Edinburgh would be in trouble. The only positive thing you can say about this part of the game is that they have not scored. I think Nel will be on pretty soon into the second half

My God, actual composure from Edinburgh. Last week wasn't a fluke, they really are changing as a side.
Good try from Du Preez!

Fairly undeserving scoreline st half time. Heathcoat kicking excellently though.
I'd bring on Nel and Bresler - need to bring some nasty!

Not wishing to say 'I seen it first', but I first noticed Heathcote playing for Bath against Glasgow in 2011, and I was blown away by his kicking. You can imagine my excitement when I heard he was Scotland-qualified!
So... erm... I seen it first, lads.

Umm... don't be alarmed (and it's perfectly possible that these amphetamines have kicked in faster than normal), but I just turned on S4C to find Nigel Owens hosting a Question of Sport-type quiz show. It seems that the Welsh for 'mile high club' really is 'mile high club'.
Yes, it's that kind of show.

'Use that green' from the ref then you let them hold the ball in and give a penalty???

Pity they can't just clone Du Preez 13 times and play all of them with Tom Heathcote.
Instant results.

Do we think its Pappy's Orders for Heathcote to kick the arse off the ball if he receives it in his own half?

Loving the red button english commentary but I'm switching back to Gaelic. John Beattie is shocking. Keeps calling Edinburgh Glasgow. Calls du Preez Strauss. One eyed Glasgow hack.
He even called him Leonardi after Leonardi had been subbed. Do some research. You're meant to be a professional

Wow, to turnover the scrum being meters away only to panic lose 20m then get penalised. We've been utter mince tonight.
Re: Edinburgh V Connacht 12th Sept
WTF? A clear Edinburgh scrum penalty, followed by an Edinburgh mistake during the advantage period. Decision? Play on, penalty Connacht.
