Good team, and should be enough to do the job. Scrum may struggle, but Matawalu is pretty adept at taking scrums out of the equation with his quick taps and breaks from the base.
Can't see past a try bonus win here for Glasgow, assuming conditions allow for an open game. Expect to see DTH and Hogg featuring on the scoresheet.

I wasn't at the Exfoliators/Soapdodgers 'A' game but every press report I read made a point of saying that when Zander came on he snapped his opposite number in half, so Toonie obviously feels that it's time he deserves his chance.
At 19 stone, he's big enough. I always felt when watching international age grade games he was the only Scottish prop who bore comparison with the English monsters he was packing down opposie. Let's see how he goes. Send a good message to the EDP players , that selection.

Conditions are meant to be great, that Glasgow's backline should run havoc against a Treviso's team who are still unlikely to know each other names.
Pack could struggle though, in that regard i'm disappointed there is no signs of The Coo, still listed out because of "medical/illness", i'm sure i spotted him in a Warriors' training video.

Entirely agree. It's a great message to the younger players - as is the selection of Rory Sutherland for the Ulster game at Edinburgh. It's pleasing to see these young guys coming through. Great also to see Alex Allan continuing to get a run in the side. Making a fool out of Solomons.

Given de Klerk's less than stellar current fitness, he is almost certain to get onto the field. He has to grab this chance as I presume Euan Murray would have taken the bench slot if the match hadn't been on a Sunday.

Re: Benetton Treviso v Glasgow Warriors, 5 October
Saw him mentioned on another thread but we miss Ed Kalman at these kind of times. Not a great prop but a good pro 12 level prop who obviously didn't have the upside of the youngsters in the squad for Sunday but would have strengthed us for Sunday.
His retirement through injury was a story that slipped under the radar slightly at the end of last season, amongst the euphoria of an otherwise great end to the season.
Probably arguing against myself by saying that it's great to see the youngsters getting a chance.
Suppose we still only have Welsh, Murray, Grant and Reid to come back. Don't think we can assume anything about Cusack at this point.

Conway was shocking in the Edinburgh Connacht game. I hope he's better here, but I'm not hopeful.

Not a great start. Plethora of mistakes, team a bit complacent me thinks.
10-0 down after 9 minutes

TBH, if Treviso played Edinburgh tomorrow, I'd bet on Treviso to get a win by at least 10

Is the ball covered in Vaseline, Glasgow can't seem to hang onto it at all. More mistakes this game than the rest of the season put together!

Try the BBC Sport website, think there's a link on the rugby page.
Or go to the pub, that's working for me!

I get the feeling there will be lot of tries in this game. One more for the bonus point. Just need to put the game to bed before getting to carried away

4 tries, just need to make sure we win the game now. One more try should do that then we can give the subs a run

Here's a question. If matalawu sat down in front of a psychologist, would be declared insane?
