Re: Foreign Transfer Bidding Page
Connacht would like to tender for the services of Richie McCaw, at £24m
In the twilight of his career but Sir Richie is still one of the best flankers around and we here at Connacht would love to bring someone of his experience and leadership to the side, to not just help develop the young forwards in the side, but also help develop the side itself. We have two of his former Crusader team mates already in the pack to help him settle in, and also he is surely considering the chance to make some money in the North and test himself in a different competition.
With Richie's leadership we would like to make him our team's captain.

Re: Foreign Transfer Bidding Page
£23m for Joe Launchbury
Newcastle would like to offer Joe a long term deal in which he will almost inherit cult hero status on Tyneside which is a thriving city for people his age. He would also get to play along side Dylan Hartley , Tom Wood , Fernandez Lobbe, George Ford and Juli Sevea who are real stars of the game. Working under Dean Richards and John Wells would also help his devolpment as a international player.

Will Genia £21m
Already linked with moves away and has had a terrible year, he has lost his place in Aussie squad. We are offering a fresh start behind a good pack where he can get himself reignited.

Montpellier would like to bid £22m for Mako Vunipola
We can offer Mako a spot in a world class front row, alongside two brilliant performers in Mas and Strauss. We think that Adriaan and Nicolas can really help aid Mako's development and take his career to the next level.

Exeter offer 23m for Stephen Moore.
We want Stephen to become the leader of our front row, and be one of the building blocks of our pack. Stephen would be adding to the formidable spine of our side, and has former teammates already at the club in Folau and Mumm. We also offer Stephen the chance to join the senior leadership group with Read and Mumm

Gloucester would like to offer 23m to Paul O'Connell, alongside the opportunity to play behind a truly world class front row (something he isn't used to getting) and the opportunity to school 2 precociously talented young locks in Savage and Stooke. As we currently only have interim captains in a pack full of leaders, and Chris Robshaw is happy to focus on te England captaincy, we would also offer him the captaincy should he agree to transfer

Is there a chance I can get this confirmed please? Someone else has bidded on someone else I want, but I'd like to have the chance to bid against them.

Re: Foreign Transfer Bidding Page
Yeah i don't know what's going on, i bid on Mako on friday and want him in my 23 for this week and CJB bid on Genia on Thursday.
Should we make a call on them? My opinion would be
Genia 21m - definitely keen on the move, but far too low for someone who is the best SH in the world on form
Mako 23m - my bid, won't comment
McCaw 24m - i would accept based on price and the NZ connection and the tax benefits of ireland
Moore 23m - perhaps a touch low
POC 23m - perhaps low for a man of his quality. prizing him away from Munster will be really tough

Re: Foreign Transfer Bidding Page
Ok Ozzy, I'll have a crack
Genia 21m - REJECTED. Will is tempted by the move following a turbulent year, but doesn't think that the offer is suitable for a player of his talent
Mako 23m - ACCEPTED. Mako is enthused by the opportunity to develop his ability and test himself in a tough league, learning from the likes of Nicolas Mas and Adriaan Strauss
McCaw 24m - ACCEPTED. Richie looks forward to joining his compatriots and feels that Ireland offers him the more discreet, quieter overseas stint, which suits his lifestyle.
Moore 23m - REJECTED. Steven is in prime position for the RWC and can't jeopardise him squad place at this price
POC 23m - REJECTED. Paul will find it incredibly difficult to leave the club that he built him as a player for this price

Re: Foreign Transfer Bidding Page
Up it to 24m
Just a quick thing Bathite, not having a go just asking, does the club not decide on the fee like in football and the player doesn't really get a say in that or does the player decide on fee here?

Re: Foreign Transfer Bidding Page
Dunno mate, all a bit hypothetical on this game isn't it? But I think it is fair to say 21m is too low for a bloke who is world class in real life, just only having a poor 12 months really

If we are taking RWC places into account, why would any of the top players for SH sides be moving, or even England players moving to France for that matter?

Genia 24m ACCPTED. Will would welcome the opportunity to challenge himself outside of Australia. At his young age, he is confident he can still reclaim his Wallaby shirt for the latter half of his career

22m JP Pietersen
We feel we have one spot left to complete our back line turning us into one of the best units around. We think JP completes it. He will be the experience leader of our back row and with youngsters snapping at his heels he will get the chance to tutor as well as competition to keep him on his toes. He has only heard great thing from his Saffa team mates and with the World Cup coming up thinks the Welsh conditions will be a good place to prepare!
