Foreign Transfer Bidding Page Empty Foreign Transfer Bidding Page

Post by Ozzy3213 Mon 27 Oct 2014, 7:03 pm

The foreign transfer draft is now complete.  Please now use this page to bid for players.  Bidding guidelines are as follows.

1. You will need to sell your club to the player you are bidding for.
2. If you want a world class player, it will cost you between £20-25 million, top international will cost £18-23 million.  Uncapped players will be judged upon their own merits.

Connacht - Fluxy:  Johnny Sexton
Newcastle Falcons - Driver:  Tom Wood
London Irish - Ozzy:  Bismarck du Plessis
Scarlets - CJB:  Eben Etzebeth
Exeter Chiefs - BamBam:  Kieran Read
Gloucester - ChequeredJersey:  Marcos Ayerza
Stade Francais - Freemo:  Owen Farrell
Montpellier - Bathite:  Brodie Retallick

Newcastle Falcons - Driver:  Cian Healy
London Irish - Ozzy:  Manu Tuilagi
Connacht - Fluxy:  Sam Whitelock
Scarlets - CJB:  Duane Vermeulen
Exeter Chiefs - BamBam:  Aaron Smith
Gloucester - ChequeredJersey:  Chris Robshaw
Stade Francais - Freemo:  Tom Youngs
Montpellier - Bathite:  Adrian Strauss

Montpellier - Bathite:  Wesley Fofana
Stade Francais - Freemo:  Yoann Huget
Gloucester - ChequeredJersey:  Matt Giteau
Exeter Chiefs - BamBam:  Aaron Cruden
Scarlets - CJB:  Jonathon Davies
Connacht - Fluxy:  George North
London Irish - Ozzy:  Beauden Barrett
Newcastle Falcons - Driver:  Julian Savea

Newcastle Falcons - Driver:  George Ford
London Irish - Ozzy:  Billy Vunipola
Connacht - Fluxy:  Owen Franks
Scarlets - CJB:  Willie le Roux
Exeter Chiefs - BamBam:  Joe Launchbury
Gloucester - ChequeredJersey:  Danny Care
Stade Francais - Freemo:  Maxime Mermoz
Montpellier - Bathite:  Ben Smith

If you take more than 24 hours from the person above you in the list selecting their player, then you forfeit your turn in the round and move to the end of that round of the draft.

I assume Ozzy has roughly ordered us in reverse quality of starting squad? Which is subjective but similar to what Driver did with budgets

Precisely what CJ has said. You have the strongest starting squad Bathite, hence Driver gave you smallest budget. Under that system you'd have been able to afford two players maximum, this way you get four.

Actually I think I had the smallest budget under Driver, not that I think I have the strongest squad

You may be right, there was little between you twos and Gloucesters budgets, however the point still stands about squad strengths, and therefore the draft order.

Ok. I think I'm getting there slowly, didn't realise rules had changed that much.

So there's no miney involved anymore? Do the rules on nationals, originals and u23s still stand?
