Storyville documentaries
Does anyone else think these are the best programs ever?!
BBC 4 showed one about Orca whales in captivity in SeaWorld tonight, heartbreaking but a great documentary nonetheless.
And every other one I've seen has been 10/10.
Any other fans out there?

Blackfish?
That really is a great documentary. One of the best.

The very one Tino, I take it you shan't be visiting Sea World again?

Have you seen the Lance Armstrong doc, or the one on Shin Bet (The Gatekeepers)? Absolutely excellent stuff.

I hadn't ever been, but I certainly won't after watching that. Some of the treatment is just outrageous.
The shots of the Orca's 'attacking' the handlers is shocking.
There is another good one called The Cove, which is along similar lines. It's not as good as Blackfish but worth a watch.

Watched Blackfish last night, stunningly good. I am going to Florida in about 18 months, suffice to say Sea World is now off the list of places I will be visiting. Set of c*nts

Must try to catch Blackfish.
They have some good rides at sea world though.
Did they not stop the killer whale 'shows' at Sea World?

I think there has to be some sort of barrier between the trainer and the whale, but as far as I know the shows are still going on.westisbest wrote:

Good one on last night about magician James Randi and his efforts to expose various faith healers and psychics, including Uri Geller. Amazing how gullible the general public are. Good watch.

I've only seen the one called "India's daughter" which is not for the faint of heart.
