Right, back to some more predictions:
78. God performance but lose to France
79. Bad game and narrowly lose to Wales
80. Better performance and a comfortable win over Italy
81. 20 point loss to England. Jim Hamilton comes off the bench and is red carded within 2 mins
82. Win over Ireland, denying them the title!
Totally possible...

So Scots fans…think Scotland will kick on from their performance v NZ and have a good 6 Nations, every chance you can make 1/4s fairly easily at RWC, if the personnel is right - shame about Weir - and Cotter continues to show he is the real deal, i predict a stellar Scottish year. What is your 6 Nations draw like? If you have England at home it will be a cracker for the Calcutta cup

True, but I think people (approaching) their late twenties hate those in their early 20s more than old bastards do, because youth is still a fresh memory for us, and we're faced with impending 30s and old age!

I suspect most Scottish fans will be the same as we are every 6N - cautious optimism but knowing that most likely we're only going to beat Italy! I know we say this every year, but this year we've certainly got most reason to be optimistic, but this doesn't change the fact that odds are very much against us to get more than one win.

Back to the rugby
Did you know that Ally Hogg has scored more tries, made more tackles and made more metres that Josh Struass!!!
Quite impressive for someone who is too old to play intenational rugby! Managing to beat the Glasgow God must make him some form of Greek legend!

I'm always suspicious of meters made stats - often the number 8 sits deep to receive kicks (Denton and Beattie do) so they run around 30m without being tackled. Do that several times a game and of course they will have good meters made stats.
A more telling stat would be 'meters made over the gainline'.

Re: Scotland 6N lookahead
Tat, I'm not sure where you're getting those try-scoring stats from - the Aviva Prem website only shows one try for Ally Hogg this year, and that's against London Welsh. I mean, even the MFLs managed to score five tries against them... in two games.
By contrast, we all know that Mr Strauss has scored three tries this year already, including that one at Scotstoun against the aforementioned MFLs.

I fully agree. Parisse is always topping the metres made charts for this very reason.
Ally Hogg has been helped this year with his 50m run to score last weekend lol
