That's a shambolic allocation for a 90,000 seater stadium
Reading 2-0 up in 10 mins.

Arsenal got exactly the same Fernando. Can't remember last year's allocation for the final.

Playing goal music makes you a joke of a club? Nearly every lower league club I've been to play goal music. Stop fishing Nick

God I think I'd die of depression of Reading won it.
I want Villa to do it, if not them then Liverpool for Gerrard, that's provided Gerrard is actually playing!

I'm sure Gary Bowyer will have some plan. A surprise tactic? Liverpool planning ahead, looking to deal with the aerial threat of Gestede then they come up against a more agile Rhodes. Could be some clever thinking if he delivers in this second half.

And score some goals.... Hmm, he's a striker that scores goals, I wonder why Gary Bowyer played him?

Rhodes is a good striker. Gestede is just a better all round footballer, who could probably hack the Premership a lot better.

I've only just seen this post. You must be joking? A "joke club"? Brighton are hardly any better. Worse place in the table, we have beaten you this season and when was the last time Brighton were in the Premier League? Or won a league title? I forgot, they were playing in lonely League One just a few seasons back. We've got plastic seats but I'm afraid that's about as plastic as we get. Fickle Brighton fan. Drum creates a atmosphere along with goal music. Brighton fans barely cheer at all. I could only just hear you at the Madejski a few weeks ago. What a shame.

Sorry, the Hammers fans rely on a reality TV show to generate their atmosphere do they. We don't travel in numbers but we are by far and away one of the loudest in the Championship. I hardly heard anything the last time we played you and you knocked 4 goals past us.

Always makes me laugh when people say another club is plastic, nothing etc.
Wouldn't say there is a nothing club in the leagues.
as far as Reading go, I don't mind them. Have to a fair few Reading villa games.
Quite like the mad stad. Have been to a fair few London Irish games to.
The pub at the station is decent.
Would love to see a villa Reading final.
Oooh Reading are plastic, wtf, pretty sad.

They have an inflatables day, Westi. A day for inflatables. They're a team of no consequence with no rivals.
No idea what the reality TV show line was about. But I'd laugh at the thought of you not hearing a sound. We travel well and loud, it's well known.

I don't mind them as i said.
Had some good games with them.
Some good wins at the Madjeski stadium.
Don't they have the Thames Valley derby against Oxford.
Not exactly local, but a bit of a rivalry maybe.
Maybe fl knows more.
Is having a rival a big deal?

My neck of the woods, Westy. Oxfordshire.
20/30 years ago Robert Maxwell wanted to merge Oxford Utd and Reading and have them as the Oxford Royals. Didn't happen, obviously.
Jumping off that boat was a much better idea.
When I think of Reading, I think of the Oxford Royals.

So you're basically saying you rely on a drum and goal music to create an atmosphere at your home ground, whatever it's called. Point proven, Reading are a joke, worst support i've ever seen from home fans; away fans are always silent as well.FootballLight wrote:NickisBHAFC wrote:Reading are a joke of a club.

You say Reading are a joke club, but they have won the championship therefore played in the premiership.
Would you not want Brighton to do that?
I think achievement on the pitch is a bit more important than a team only brining a couple of hundred fans to an away ground.

Re: FA Cup Final Thread - 2014/15 season
Pretty confident going into the game sunday.
Under Sherwood we have certainly improved, played better football then with Lambert.
The win at WHL will give us a lot of confidence(not just for sunday, but remaining games).
Benteke is unstoppable at the moment, hopefully he can keep his goalscoring form up.
Gabby's pace will hopefully cause them trouble. Deplh is playing well. Grealish also.
Hopefully they can rise to the occasion.
Given has played well in the cup run, hopefully can keep that up.
Joe Cole to score winner against his former club.
Roll on sunday, wont be easy, should be a good game.

Re: FA Cup Final Thread - 2014/15 season
Well its up to you guys what you think, but you couldn't be anymore wrong really.
We don't travel in numbers, but we are loud and we always give it a good go. To say that we are plastic is an understatement. If you think things such as drums and music is plastic then you must be deluded. A drum and music creates more atmosphere than just sitting there signing away, something that Brighton fans don't often do. The only time I have ever seen Brighton fans cheer was at Nottingham Forest last season. Then that all went pear shaped didn't it after that, again.
Forest fans have quantity, not quality when it comes to their football or fans. To be fair to them, they have soundly beaten us twice this season, but it hasn't exactly been difficult for any side to beat us this season really. The last time they were in the Premier League was probably the last time they lifted the Champions Cup and that was a good 30 years ago. Great club, everything else is just average bordering on poor.
So then, my post about West Ham is a joke? So, Reading are a plastic club for having a drum and music and West Ham fans and just soundly ok when they create an atmosphere when bubbles get filtered into a football ground? Surely you must be having a laugh. Although, I guess it shows they take some attention off the kids watching football games, give them credit where t is due.
At least we can safely say our "plastic" fans have helped get us to the Semi-Finals along with the quality of play. That can be more than said for the Brighton, Forest and West Ham fans, that's for sure.
URZ!!!
