Macron Scotland kit
Anyone bought any of this years Scotland kit? Looking to get some stuff for Xmas presents this year and not 100% sure of the sizing. Does Macrons sizes match the other suppliers or are they big/small made?

Re: Macron Scotland kit
I'm getting one for my other half and there are some fairly good size guides available.
She's quite small so I've gone for a junior size - XS - the woman's tops aren't the same and she wouldn't like it. I sent First XV an email asking what size to go for and they were pretty helpful so maybe worth getting in touch with your local supplier.
Always worth getting a size bigger than you think you are - room for jumpers and hoodies underneath!

Re: Macron Scotland kit
They are comparable to addidas sizing, if you have an NZ, Lions, Highlanders, France, Italy or Munster shirt get the same size of strip as them.
Being a member of the front row union I carry a significant amount of "relaxed muscle" around the midsection. So the XL does well for me.

Re: Macron Scotland kit
As a skinny former winger I went for small, probably the equivalent of a UK XS. But a good fit, and the shirt feels well made.

Good thread. Alive - that sizing chart is incredibly helpful.
On a related note, I was going to order some stuff too - can anyone vouch for the quality of the Macron clothing?
When they first got the gig, I recall that people were quite sniffy about it in comparision to Canterbury's efforts. Have these fears gone away? Or is the Macron stuff all there is, so people are just having to buy it?

I bought the Glasgow strip for my boy last season, the Sponsors logo started peeling off after a few washes. Scotland top didn't have the same issue and has worn very well.

Thanks
Living in a hot country and having bought various shirts over the years i would recommend checking out the material. Some of those shirts are literally sweat jackets.

As a former sevens winger masquerading as a scrum-half, I genuinely wear a 14-year-old size Glasgow shirt.
According to the man in the (then) Canterbury shop at Murrayfield, this is the same as a men's small, but tailored without as much of a stomach!
