Doubt it, but 4 if back-row players were selected on merit, or maybe 5 (Evans and Cudd).

Tyler would've been in. Gatland said. Prydie is probably lucky, but the Dragons centre crisis has undoubtedly helped him. Plus he is another goal kicking option, so that helps. Cudd is unlucky, but Gatland will never pick him when we are playing four fairly physical teams.

Cudd is a good player, but too 'old' now for Gats to consider

Well done to good old BBC Wales again.

I hope any Falcons fans travelling down for the game tonight won't be to disappointed but according to the lunchtime news we are playing Rovigo tonight not he Falcons.

They are not even in our group they are in the Blues and have them at home tonight, would it really hurt for the readers to do a little bit of research beforehand?

It does not help when the kicker misses three pens before getting the 4th and two charge downs and losing so many of their own line outs. The Dragons need to pick their best team and take them on in Newcastle.

Hallam is a very talented young player who has made 3 errors in recent games involving charge downs - bit harsh of you there GA, every young player makes mistakes, so by your criterion no young Welsh player would "get anywhere near team Wales"
Unfortunately,as you weren't present at the game, you are unable to comment on the many positive things Hallam did during the game - there's the rub eh? just slag him off Rolling Eyes

Gave the game away by "watching" on the well known tv station Radio Wales.

Such a frustrating performance because we did so many things well. I'm confident we can turn Newcastle over in the return match, but not if we carry on conceding such soft tries.

They were a very very lucky team that they didn't have a man binned for constant offences around the ruck. The referee seemed to have a lot of patience with them. The officials were dreadful last night, though that isn't the reason we lost.

The charge downs are obviously avoidable. Hallam could certainly have side stepped before kicking on one of them. It was also disappointing that we would have won if the missed kicks had gone over. To lose to a fringe/development team when we were supposed to have our tails up from last week is pretty unforgivable.

Very impressed with Reidy at 7 for us. The quality of our 12's (McCloskey, Olding and L.Marshall) is ridiculous. We need to send one South so they can all get game time. McCloskey looks a star in the making.

Dragons poor but like Edinburgh they're just missing so many players you can't expect too much at the moment.

Wouldn't mind McCloskey or Olding!  Actually (without trying to hijack the thread) Scannell is very similar to Luke Marshall.

Once we get a fit centre and few locks back we might win. Not a bad performance consideringlots of under 21 players playing.

Yeah it was. Shows how good Cudd is though we missed him tonight. Benjamin not over the ball much don't think he made a turnover but he is not a out and out 7.

Which is why they should've looked at Scott Matthews first. Terrible weather here, so mistakes inevitable. Thought we fell off a few first up tackles, which wasn't ideal and Brew got caught in no mans land at least once, where he should've just smashed man with ball. But on the whole, we held on well and we didn't deserve the last try against. Think 16-6 would've been fair.

The Quins game is probably where he was needed most because if the team wants to progress in this competition that one was a must-win game. Do you know much rest Harris has had? I think the SA club season hasn't long ended... That would be a lot of rugby for him.
