QOTD: how do you think different types of wrestling fans would have reacted to the Gateway To Glory result?
For example what would the smarks be saying? The old school fans? The kids? The casuals?

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
To answer my own question...
I'd say that old school fans would be delighted, Joshua is a throwback to the days where wrestlers lived their gimmicks. Kids would probably be terrified and I honestly think the Smarks would be split down the middle...
Half would love the gimmick and be drawn to him in a way that they are to Bray Wyatt...the other half would be upset that a more smarky wrestler such as Masters or Wood didn't win.

Great stuff Thunder really shows the struggles the character has been to through to get back to 6CW.
THAT CARD
Costello vs JJ should be interesting... Cue Lex interferences that sets a fire under JJ and starts their road to NOG?

I'm guessing I should hold fire for a Joshua promo as you may want to use what I have to say for his address?

Good promos so far already. Interesting one from Dolph. We looking at a Red Arrows split and heel change for Hurst?

Time for the boys to find a voice, I think. There's a lot going on and there is a chance they fade away, so need to make impact. Making sure people don't see them as the smiley happy people who likes the good guys and hate the baddies is all part of the process

Brilliant, Dubs. In fact all four promos so far have really intrigued and entertained me, plenty of fallout from Day of Reckoning.

Afternoon people, just watched (but mainly x30) Fastlane. Typical off cheese ppv between the bread and butter which is Rumble and Mania.
Aftermath should be very interesting. Looking forward mainly to Adamsons reaction.

Joshua got to address the nation so jotted down a few ideas for that.
Already feel the build up brewing over certain matches. Let's hope next PPV (Revolution?) is not a Fastlane filler!

Meh.....how about Grace's obvious claim for being unfairly booted out of GTG?!
Reckon the lack of a title will make Adamson more humble

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
What's up guys? Had a random idea for a new finisher this morning, out of the blue, was wondering what people thought.
619 set up (opponent leaning on the middle rope with their head outside the ring), Thunder bounces off the opposite rope, leaps through the air as he nears the opponent and steps off and pushes off their back, 180's as he goes over the rope and clubs with a double axe handle as he comes down.

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
That would need quite a set up. But, the height you fall from is the same as if you jumped off the top turnbuckle. Then it just becomes a double axe handle.
Maybe a good trademark move but wouldn't use it as a finisher.

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
I did play with other ideas, a RKO as he comes down and a leg drop but, decided the RKO would do more damage to Thunder and the leg drop would look more like a fame asser

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
I suggested a double foot stomp to the back of the head before quickly saying Thunder couldn't use it because it's Wood's Goomba Stomp!
That being said, as Thunder and me are the same person I guess that makes sense

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
Just seems too much for very little myself. The best moves are simple. If you want something aerial and spectacular, then how about somersault leg drop? Check out Jody Fleisch's Phoenix DDT as well.
Grace promo up for those involved (looking at you Marky).
Sick bucket is advised.

I always loved Sonjay Dutt's moonsault double stomp but I never ever got how he could do it without hurting his opponent.

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
Its kind of why I made it the Washboard Stomach and not a kick to the face. The GTS probably doesnt hurt, but a full on volley to the head is pretty nasty.

haha if the World Eater was done wrong you'd ko someone for sure...the opponent is thrown about 7 foot in to the air and met with a knee to the face on the way down.

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
You mean a Madonna style botch? Wouldn't it be great if Thunder's Day of Reckoning entrance would have been like that! His cape getting caught up.
Although it might have ended up Owen Hart like.......which is obviously very bad.
Morning! A few titles changed hands at DoR. How are the champions?

Thunder doesn't wear a cape because he's a geek not a super hero. Even if he was, outside of Superman and Batman no one really wears a cape.

Waiting for his victory parade, and the "Adamson's Show" banners to be replaced with ones that say "It's Gazzy Time!"

Adamson will always be the 6CW Champion, he doesn't need some belt to verify this claim
