Players union to meet RFU match officials to 'improve relations'
Can only be a good thing, but I blame a lot of the problem on the current players, waving fake yellows, finger pointing and play acting makes the Refs job a lot harder than it needs to be.
Only the Captain should be allowed to approach the Ref and offer advice and everyone else should just respect the Ref and get on with it.
Interesting Yoann Huget has apologised for play-acting in the defeat by Bath last weekend, but imo he needs to be hit..... .....with a 2 game ban at the very least.

Agree on all points. If someone other than the captain keeps coming up to the referee, he should be warned about possible penalty, and if they don't shut it, then I think a penalty should be given. And Yuget, or any player who dives, should be penalised. Yuget should get two weeks for the dive and extra two weeks because of the try he scored against England in the 6 Nations last year.TightHEAD wrote:Can only be a good thing, but I blame a lot of the problem on the current players, waving fake yellows, finger pointing and play acting makes the Refs job a lot harder than it needs to be.

If blatant diving occurs in the 6Ns will that player recieve a ban do you think? And will it be too late, and already tarnish rugbys credibility.

Don't know, mate. But I hope a diver does receive a ban. Doubt it's too late - There must be at least 10000 Olympic divers scattered across the soccer world. If Rugby gets serious about it, we should look very good by comparison.
