Re: 6 Nations Team of the Tournament
Stuart Barnes has picked his team of the tournament. His commentary drives me mad, but he does know his stuff and is supposed to be a one man stat machine.
15 Leigh Halfpenny
14 Yoann Huget
13 Jonathan Joseph
12 Alex Dunbar
11 Liam Williams
10 Johnny Sexton/George Ford
9 Ben Youngs
1 Joe Marler
2 Guilhem Guirado
3 Dan Cole
4 Alun Wyn Jones
5 Paul O’Connell
6 Peter O’Mahony
7 Sam Warburton
8 Taulupe Faletau
Some surprising choices in there, notably Faletau, Guirado and Dunbar.

Re: 6 Nations Team of the Tournament
Interesting that the Accenture stats made Ben Youngs one of the 12 best players overall, but not one of the best 3 SHs

Yeah I wonder how they calculate it, presumably it must be based on positional stats?!
Re: 6 Nations Team of the Tournament
Very surprised by this, if only Scotland's other 12 players were half as good!

Don't expect Scottish players to be praised on these boards. Are you mad, man?

Re: 6 Nations Team of the Tournament
That can't be right though - after all, Scottish players were on a team that had no wins. You can't have good players on a non-winning team - it's scandalous and probably libellous to even suggest it.
I think Accenture will be getting a solicitor's letter from some irate pundits.

Definitely - just think of the ludicrous selections you would have for a Lions squad if you started to acknowledge things like that...SecretFly wrote:That can't be right though - after all, Scottish players were on a team that had no wins.
