First topic message reminder :

Read an awful article on top 50 managers under 50. Katanga higher than Howe and Dyche, to name just two.

Dont really care what his personality is like(seems ok to me).
Very passionate unlike Lambert was.

He is doing well for us and thats all that matters in the end.
Can't argue with that, results that count, hope you wallop Arsenal.

How bad is that Brighton defence 2 chances to clear, my granny could have defended it, and you don't  give bullhead a chance like that.

Absolutely gutted! Thrown it away today..we had a corner with less than 50 seconds to play and we concede. Football basics...down to 10 men...draw away from home, keep hold of the fecking ball! #Idiots! Karanka will be furious, regardless of the grit and determination shown in getting back to 3-3.

Today showed exactly why we have fallen away from the automatic chase. I'd have taken top 6 at start of season. But given we had lost 1 in 20 heading into March...had the best form and best defence in the league...now I'm struggling to feel any joy at reaching the playoffs. We have thrown away our season due to atrocious defending and some very poor tactics against the big teams in the seasons final run in.

Whilst Watford deserve the automatic spot, I do worry massively as to just how many managers they end up going through next year. Seems both them and the Cherries will be the two definitely going up...and oddly enough I think they are the two less suited to survival in the Premiership. Not many teams get promoted and play that kind of expansive football and survive in the Top Flight..out of all the teams involved in the Race for Top 2...Boro have probably played the type of football that would give the best chance of survival next year.

What a day for Bournemouth.

My apologies (to Olly) for enjoying that Rotherham goal so much, but Millwall going down even after a harsh points deduction for Rotherham, that would be perfect.

Never played in the 1st half against a bag of crap like Fulham, and 4th goal was a joke, keeper up for a corner don't know why, McCormick stands on the half way line, nearest player 15 yards away, absolutely stupid and we played excellent with 10 men.

No excuses you finish in the league where you deserve to be, but we've had a good season, no-one fancied us, proud of the players, and still got a great chance in the play offs.

Bolton 2nd worst away record in the division next to Blackpool, easy win for Bournemouth on Monday 3 or 4 nil.

Full house 33600 next week against Brighton non event, might as well rest a few players and give a few others a chance.

Not sour grapes, but I think Watford and Bournemouth will come straight back down, not big enough to stay up, but they'll be there on merit.

Deeney's a championship striker, no more than that, Bournemouth will attack and get ripped to shreds.

Got to agree owen, we had no need to send the keeper forward, we were doing alright with the outfield players.
Karanka on radio now, thinks player's played 1st half like a friendly game as if nothing was at stake, and called it embarrassing, and difficult for him to understand, he said after today he has doubts about the players, sums it up owen, very honest assessment.

I don't think so Olly, this has been asked a few times and every answer I've seen has been that they stay until after the playoff final (if we make it of course)

Has made me chuckle that you Boro fans have moaned all season about Karanka not being attacking enough, or taking enough risks - soon as they take one at the end today (a draw is no good for Boro at all realistically) you chastise him for that - can't have it both ways

You are joking right Olly? You don't take a risk when down to 10 men...away from home...having pulled back a 3-1 deficit to 3-3, simple as that. You say a draw was no good but it would have taken us to 2nd in table till Monday...ahead of Norwich and Bournemouth. When your chasing a 60+ million pound promotion the best you can do is put pressure on those around you and hope they crumble. I'd have rather sat 1 point in front of Bournemouth than level with a hugely inferior goal difference heading into Monday.
