Game over.
Defence-splitting pass and Jerome needs a bit of precision timing to slide the ball past the keeper. Looked a lot easier than it probably was.
Well played Norwich.

Book your tickets now Norwich fans. Your place in the Play-Off final, packed, sealed and sent. Valiant effort throughout the season Ipswich, done well to even get this far. Commiserations.

As suspected, Norwich and Middlesbrough ended up being a class above their opposition.

Once Ipswich went down to 10, they were never going to hold out, still think keeper should have had the 2nd, poor effort IMO.
Justice was done, 3rd against 4th, both teams have match winners on their day, everyone outside Teesside fancies Norwich, underdog suits us.

I'm going Middlesbrough. Both would suit the PL but I can just see Boro prevailing.

Not sure I'd fancy us against Boro - they did us 4-0 and 1-0 this season

Hard game Olly,2 league games against you mean nothing, its whoever performs on the day, so have a good day out, and let the chips fall where they may.Olly wrote:Not sure I'd fancy us against Boro - they did us 4-0 and 1-0 this season

Pretty sure the league games are an indicator of how things will go - thus why I was confident against Ipswich, and would've been against Brentford.

Thanks very much Dolphin, glad I'm a season ticket holder, general sale has been suspended till Wednesday, estimated 26000 on ticket line at same time, fans on phone over 2 hours and not moving in queue bloody hopeless, as one fan said I would sooner just queue outside the ground than mess about like this.Dolphin Ziggler wrote:Congrats to the boys, happy for you Owen, Nico and Olly. Our ticket office is always useless in situations like this, they never get it right.

Very good player on his day GSC, Hit too much by injuries lately but could be a very shrewd signing for yourselves as I can see him wanting to show DCFC what they're missing out on and that he is worth the trouble.

Just seen Blackpool have released 17 players, but have retained Nile Ranger, who's been awol since November. That club's been completely pillaged.

Paul Clement expected to takeover. Interesting move for all parties; he's often linked with Prem jobs but I'm guessing he's got to take something now with Carlo leaving Real all but confirmed and Rafa and the like all bring their own backroom crew.

Bit of transfer news, Wolves have signed Jed Wallace from Pompey for £275k. Scored 15 last season for a struggling side. Lots of Pompey fans think he's worth more, but Wolves have met his sell on clause.

Nothing confirmed yet at Derby.
Great signing for Wolves, a sign of things to come for us this summer, missing out on good signings.

Shame to see our world class midfielder Guthrie be released from the club. I'm sure he'll do well somewhere else. All the best to Andersen, Yakubu and Knight as well, good servants for your time here, did well.

No such luck, despite trying first thing in the morning and during my lunch breaks. Also didn't bother while the rail strike was on. Would've meant I could get there, but would be stuffed for getting back.
Hope everyone that did manage to get a ticket has a great day out. I'll be willing Boro on from my living room...hopefully scaring the neighbours with my goal celebrations.

Re: 2014/15 Championship Thread
Sorry to hear that, Ticketmaster have apologised to Boro fans after failing to post tickets, fans who haven't received their tickets by now will have to go and queue at the Riverside to get them, and if their ticket is not there they'll need to pick it up at Wembley.dyrewolfe wrote:Nico the gman wrote:Just reading the local rag,Extra tickets were made available from 2.30 today, I hope you managed to get a ticket.dyrewolfe wrote:The trials and tribulations of being a Middlesbrough fan...

What an absolute shambles this has been from start to finish, typical Boro, nowt wrong with the old queuing up system.
