Ben Te'o I think. I'm sure going to miss Bakkies when he hangs up his boots.

Is there a special rule that Armitage doesn't have to release the player?

The tackle release is just ignored it seems for Armitage.

Based on your comments throughout this game, I don't think I am the one getting things wrong.

It's ok not to be bothered by the fact he isn't releasing, you don't have to pretend he is. As long as he gets away with it, it's exceptional open side play. Getting away with it is basically the job description for a seven. Leinster know that better than anyone. I think he's been excellent.

i agree notch. what people do miss about steffon is that he is already so low to the ground you have to pay attention to see that he has released the player on the floor. which he always does. he isnt the best turnover specialist in the world for nothing.Notch wrote:quinsforever wrote:if you only have one eye, and you blink, you will certainly miss him releasing. cause he certainly did and stayed on his feet thoughoutRory_Gallagher wrote:VinceWLB wrote:Is there a special rule that Armitage doesn't have to release the player?

Jordi Murphy got over the ball, very Steffon-esque, but unfortunately he didn't get away with it.

This has been such a bad game, extra time seems like a punishment.
But technically its the best possible result for Ulster, they play us on Friday so anything that tires Leinster out is fine with me- especially if they still win

doesnt look to me like leinster are in better shape than toulon at this point in the match. not clear to me that conditioning favours either side from here.
suspect we are going to get lots of ping-pong rugby and aggressive defense trying to win turnover pens.
