TNA - Breaking News - Perhaps?
First topic message reminder :
Unconfirmed news coming from the US that Destination America are about to cancel their deal with TNA - Although completely unsubstantiated at this point where would TNA go from what would be a huge setback so soon after the loss of the deal with Spike?

Right so, combined evening and W Coast numbers, TNA is less than 100K ahead.
I think that is TNA's lowest figures for a new show on DA. Not good numbers for them, anyway you cut it. And hard to see in any way how TNA has benefitted from the move or having ROH as the lead in.

Apparently were 109k ahead. I suspect that gap may shrink in the next few weeks tbh.

Re: TNA - Breaking News - Perhaps?
I was just going by the figures Dolphin gave (TNA total = 369,000, ROH total = 273,000). So, 96,000. But there's not such a difference between that and 109,000. In either case, the drop for TNA on the move was very large. And if the rumour is to be believed that Ring of Honour is practically a free program for DA, it feels a large uphill task now for TNA if there is the threat of non-renewal hanging over them in September.

What I would really like to know is how many people tune in to watch it in the UK on Challenge. Anyone got some viewer figures?

Re: TNA - Breaking News - Perhaps?
I'm sure I've seen numbers in the past of TNA getting around 150-200K viewers on Challenge, while Raw draws around 100-150K viewers on Sky Sports. Don't know what they are now.
Also, have no idea what Challenge pays for Impact, but looking at their other programming it is hard to believe it is a lot. Also, there was a visible drop in production value (and roster cuts) when the Spike deal was lost. So, it really feels that these overseas TV contracts that TNA has in place can't be producing really significant revenue.

Recent viewership estimates for IMPACT Wrestling on Challenge in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland are now available from the Broadcasters’ Audience Research Board. The Sunday, May 10, 2015 episode of IMPACT Wrestling that aired on Challenge brought in an estimated 121,000 viewers. No information is available on how many additional viewers watched one hour later on Challenge +1, which brings the total audience for this episode to 121,000 viewers. This figure represents an increase of about 1,000 viewers from the prior week’s episode, which brought in an estimated 120,000 viewers.

To be fair to TNA, they have been moved AGAIN and it definitely takes a few weeks to get a real idea of the impact (no pun) of these things.

I do think TNA have some decent syndication in a few other countries too

Another thing to note is that they post a lot of clips on their website which each get between 50k and 100k views in the first week.
Re: TNA - Breaking News - Perhaps?
Someone may have better numbers than I have. But the first showing of TNA on Destination America (Jan 7) I saw had 359,000 viewers. Their last showing on a Friday on Destination America, 413,000 viewers.
Now in the meantime they've been up and they've been down. But that's around a 15% increase over 5 months. So, I'll agree that the numbers will go up, but there's a real question about how much.
