Italy v England Six Nations 2016 ticket advice
I've been wanting to go to this fixture for years and it looks like next year is the year!
Probably I'm asking the obvious but can anyone advise me as to the best way to go about getting tickets? I can see stuff on offer on the internet but am always distrustful of the majority of sites offering tickets/packages. Ticketmaster doesn't seem to be offering any tickets yet - are they even released yet? The RBS 6Ns site doesn't offer too many clues and I couldn't find a way of translating the FIR site but will persevere with that. In the past I have been to a couple of Wales Eng fixtures but have got tickets via clubs/friends.
Any advice would be most welcome.

Try - http://www.federugby.it/index.php nearer the date. There's a link to ticketing on it
http://ticket.federugby.it/
This was the link for 2015
http://ticket.federugby.it/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=233&Itemid=231&lang=en
"PLEASE CONTACT YOUR OWN UNION WHICH IS ENTITLED OF THE USUAL ALLOCATION OF 5500 TICKETS
OR VISIT WWW.TICKETONE.IT AND CHOOSE THE "PRINT AT HOME" OPTION (AND NOT AZZURRO XV CARD) TO GET YOUR TICKETS. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PRINT YOUR OWN TICKETS AT HOME. WE DON'T HAVE ANY COLLECTION AVAILABLE AT THE STADIUM ON THE DAY OF THE MATCH."
I've used this in the past with no problems and have also got tickets through my District Union (probably be at County level in England ?) If you want any questions answered send me a PM

Stub, here's my #1 tip. If you can, do NOT fly directly in or out of Rome as the airlines will have the shoved prices sky-high for that weekend. Try Naples, just over an hour on the train. Florence is 1.5 hours, Bologna is just over 2 hours. These are all on the Trenitalia Freccia (Arrow trains) some of which can reach 300kph (190mph)

For the Wales game we flew into Rome but changed at Paris both ways really brought price down compared to a direct flight.

Myself and a buch of mates are going to the game - one of the others organised it but I believe there was a groupon offer at the time...now expired. We have hotels, flights, match tickets for £130 all in.
We booked this a couple of months back.
I would keep an eye out for any additional offers from Groupon.

Will do that propdavid thanks. You got a great deal - our flights are going to be more than your groupon deal and I'm looking at non direct options as suggested.

I went for the Ireland game this year, was a fantastic weekend! Got match tickets via viagogo very easy to get and think they worked out about 20 pound each!!

Re: Italy v England Six Nations 2016 ticket advice
Stub - Groupon are doing an offer at the moment for a 2 or 3 night stay with match ticket from £129 - £179 depending on the quality of hotel (3* to 5*) which includes breakfast but flight flights would have to be purchased separately.
As Propdavid states it's a good offer and it's back on (doesn't say expired).

Yes, I think you are right Tattie, it was £130 without flights. Hotel and tickets. Think we found cheap flights and are flying at strange times.

Thanks everyone - really appreciate the advice. Checked groupon offer but seems to be off again - will monitor. We've sorted flights (indirect with KLM saved us £260 each.)
