SURREY HAVE NAMED A THIRTEEN MAN SQUAD FOR THE LV=COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP GAME AGAINST LEICESTERSHIRE AT GRACE ROAD STARTING ON SUNDAY.
Jason Roy is unavailable after being selected in the England squad for the upcoming One Day Series against New Zealand. Chris Tremlett is included having recovered from a hamstring strain that has seen him miss the last few weeks of action. Gary Wilson returns to the squad after helping Ireland beat the UAE in their recent Intercontinental Cup game.
The Surrey squad to play Leicestershire in the LV=County Championship at Grace Road on Sunday 7th June, Monday 8th June, Tuesday 9th June and Wednesday 10th June :

Spectacular collapse by Leics lower order.  Great bowling debut by Burke, and Curran is playing a blinder.    

Very handy lead for Surrey.  No idea what is a good score on this pitch - both sides have managed an excellent partnership as well as losing half the side for virtually no runs.

Haven't exactly had much success with these 'marquee' signings in recent years what with Smith's injuries.

Astonishing day, given when I last checked the score Leicestershire were about 80 or so for none!

512 runs at an average of 42.22 in the County Championship with 2 hundreds isn't great, but it isn't bad either. He's just hit a rough patch, it happens to everybody during a season...

Harold hits couple of fours then falls for a very useful 42. Good partnership of 73. Lead stands at 234. Healthy position - but certainly not enough to feel at all comfortable.

Burke avoids a debut pair.

Foakes falls for 46. Very useful runs and Leics would now need to score the highest total in the match to win. But 262 is not an impossible total to chase especially if the wicket were to have eased a little by tomorrow.
