Cheers Munkian, it was a great day last year by all accounts, there is a ST holder with us who lives in Birmingham and doesn't miss a game home and away, who had a great time up there.

Heard somewhere about a Home/Away friendlies between the Scarlets and Dragons, due to the RWC messing up the Jeff season or something. I could be way off, but that is something I did hear.

Glaws are hosting a round of the Premiership 7s on Thursday 20th August.
There is also a round robin tournament between Glaws, Bath and Exeter in September, but I don't think the dates have been announced yet. Glaws will play at the Memorial Stadium due to the RWC fixtures.

I've not heard London Welsh v Scarlets from a player who plays there. They are playing Ebbw Vale and that sort of level.

Was only joking, but yes, you are right. I'm guessing the whole RWC thing has disrupted lots of the big teams pre season preparations - especially in the Jeff.

The Scarlets pre-season fixtures are poor.
V Jersey the same weekend as the Regional leg of the 7s
V Dragons, no clashes (I think)
V Bedford, same day and kick off time as Wales play Ireland in the Dublin.

Well to be honest we have nobody else to blame for it but ourselves after all we scheduled the games. But it really takes the shine of the excitement of pre-season.

Bristol are probably in demand for friendlies for the Welsh regions, as they are probably the best non-welsh opposition any of us will be able to get.
