Apparantly, scientists have done studies on beards. They say that there is a tipping point where if beards are in the minority, women find them attractive, but then they get to a tipping point where enough men have beards that the attractiveness to women drops.

Which is why the growing of beards goes in cycles.

And apparantly we have now passed that tipping point.

Luckily for me I don't care what scientists say and if a women don't like my beard her loss. A beard is not a fashion statement it's a way of life. Anyone that keeps a beard for fashion or to impress a women has lot all respect and are barred from ever joining #BeardGang

I don't think we are at that point. I would put it down as a grumpy day.

I've been at that point for a few weeks, just not a fan of leagues with such disparities between the top and the lesser clubs to begin with (no criticism towards Nando)

I said to begin with it was to be a stop gap never expected it to make Week 7 tbh Time to get an actual plan together. If it Tactics based i won't be apart im afraid.

Similarly I will probably take a team if it is FIFA generated results as that presents a new challenge, but if it is current voting basis then I'll sit it out

How does FIFA rate players. Is there a way to turn FIFA ratings into currency and then have budgets along those lines?

Also, is there a reliable database of the standard player ratings and attribute ratings. That would be necessary so those without FIFA aren't disadvantaged.

Yeah there is one but during the season they change on a weekly basis.

I guess it's okay if it changes as long as it doesn't change dramatically.

Thanks. That means it is probably not possible to do player values based on FIFA ratings. In reality you probably couldn't swap Ericsson and Nasri for Ronaldo, certainly based on TM values, but FIFA ratings you would have 75 change

Hero, y no mention of our games last night? That would have taken the sting off today, debating why Viva sucks at Fifa while the rest of us real men actually turn up to play each other.

For the people who don't want to be involved in a tactics league, is it just the tactics side of things you don't want to do due to time or whatever?

Second game Wolfsburg 0-1 Liverpool Sterling?

Good games, I nearly got the draw in the 2nd but was counting on Lord Bendtner to get the goal...

For me tactics wise, it's all just much of the same nowadays, I want something new!

I want to say Henderson but I think it was Sterling. You'd think I could tell the difference between light and dark but no, age has ruined my short-term memory. That first game we okayed had some of the most bizarre deflections, bounces and flicks I've ever seen on Fifa. Best of 3 now

A lot of us have been doing these leagues for quite a long time so crave something different.

Heck I've been doing them so long, I've known a few of these guys for longer than I've known my own son!

There would still be tactics wouldn't there, but they'd be simplified?

I understand the need for something different and i like the FIFA idea i really do.

I get that teams would just be built around FIFA as well which is understandable.

I was going to vote no to it because as much as i like the idea i do prefer tactics but saying that i haven't given the FIFA setup a try which i am willing to do of course so i am on the fence about what we do now, i really don't mind.
