1) Stoke to finish in the top 8 places.
2) West Ham to be bought out by people from Qatar.
3) Claudio Ranieri to be sacked before Christmas.
4) Liverpool to finish at least 10 places higher than Everton.
5) Bournemouth will be in the top 10 after the first 10 games before they inevitably fall to relegation.
6) Christian Benteke to be top goalscorer.
7) Jack Grealish to make his England debut.
8) Patrick Bamford to score 20 goals.
9) Man Utd to lose away to one of the promoted teams.

1) Brendan Rodgers will moan he's not had another of a transfer kitty to compete with the top four, despite blowing over £300m since he joined on mainly dross.
2) Stoke will sign an official agreement with Barcelona to be a feeder club, as part of the deal Messi has to play on a wet Tuesday night in November at the Brittania
3) Watford will disappear from the Premier League in January, no one actually notices, or cares.
4) Mourinho will challenge Wenger to a fight, Wenger sparks him out first round
5) Ched Evans returns to football, first game in he injures Adam Johnson, the tabloid press decide he can have 'convicted r***ist' finally removed from his name.
6) Angel Di Maria moves back to Real in January after someone made his coffee slightly too milky at PSG, he never recovers from the stress.
7) The Arsenal team are the first to introduce selfie sticks into their official team kits, they lose every game against the other top four contenders but take some lovely pictures.
8) Falcao continues to struggle in front of goal so instead decided to join the Australian cricket team.
9) Raheem Sterling is found taking the wrong type of balloon as during a sting by a tabloid newspaper he starts talking like Joe Pasquele
10) Steven Gerrard retires at the end of the season, the press ignore world famine, war, terrorism for several days to pay homage to their Stevie G once more.

1/ Eden Hazard to be more protected that Kate Middleton even though every knows he's the biggest diver in world football.
2/ Six players to be sent off before Xmas after "fouling" Eden Hazard who falls to the ground like he's been shot by a sniper and rolls on the ground more than an Olympic gymnast. Jose to be seen shedding real tears which John Terry collects and sells on ebay.
3/ Eden Hazard to rise from the dead and score the winner AFTER aforementioned six players have been sent off. Feted as a genius by Jose, labelled dirty cheating git by everyone else.
4/ Gary Lineker to have an opinion that singles him out as a more pompous and opinionated twonk than Rio Ferdinand.
5/ Joey Barton to become poet Laureate.
6/ Raheem Sterling to score against Liverpool and "look sad" about it.
7/ Wenger to persist in playing Walcott up front as a striker
8/ Theo Walcott to continue to show poor decision making and fail to run at players like John Terry instead opting to pass back to Mertesacker when in on goal.
9/ Calls for Rodgers to be sacked 25 minutes into the Stoke game.
10/ My wife to look smug as f**k when United beat Liverpool....again!

Mata's my fave Utd player, I just much prefer him pulling the strings in the middle and having someone that can run at the defence on the flank.

The unexpected success at the World Cup with the new (injury forced) tactics seems to have got in everyone's heads (it's taken LVG a while to get over it too). The decision to go with Hiddink/Blind (he was supposed to hand over after Euro 2016 originally) instead of Koeman was questioned from the start and you can probably guess how that's developed since.

Czech 0-2 Turkey

Holland are in serious trouble, Turkey will need a point at home in their final game. More worrying for me, is that Tim Krul might of done his knee.

Czech republic have 10 men and have just scored a third to lead 3-0 in Holland.

Looking at the team though, its no surprise. Dutch football looks scarily weak.

Tactically a mess too. Depay & Wijnaldum were the big hopes, but they look quite average in my opinion & that's worrying going forward. I'd expect Robben, RVP & Sneijder to all retire tonight.

Not really. For a Euro's perhaps, but they also failed to qualify for the WC in 2002.

Interesting to look at some of these. Taking the OP's comments:

1) Stoke to finish in the top 8 places. - Maybe
2) West Ham to be bought out by people from Qatar. - No
3) Claudio Ranieri to be sacked before Christmas. - Well, that's gone rather differently...
4) Liverpool to finish at least 10 places higher than Everton. - I think not, but only by a spot or two

5) Bournemouth will be in the top 10 after the first 10 games before they inevitably fall to relegation. - Part right iirc, started OK, faded but have finished pretty well to ensure safety
6) Christian Benteke to be top goalscorer. - Not unless he has a VERY prolific last 7 games
7) Jack Grealish to make his England debut. - Now struggling to get into the worst team the EPL has seen for a few years
8) Patrick Bamford to score 20 goals. - Disguised as Harry Kane or Jamie Vardy?
9) Man Utd to lose away to one of the promoted teams. - Haven't actually checked the results, but it's the sort of season Man U have had.

10) Man Utd reach the Champions League Final. - Or not

Not quite, but the players did seem to revolt and Terry may have been a part of that. He wasn't dropped though.

2) Manuel Pellegrini will be sacked before the end of the season and replaced temporarily by Fabio Capello.

His leaving was announced before the end of the season, but he wasn't sacked. If he wasn't leaving anyway, possible he would have been considering the poor league form.

3) Daniel Sturridge will not be fit until Christmas, but stay injury free afterwards.

Came back briefly before Christmas before getting injured again, after Klopp was more strict about how fit he had to be to return has stayed injury free since February.

4) Leicester City will have less than 10 points by January. They will have appointed Sam Allardyce by December.

Very close to being right...

5) Manchester United will finish bottom of their Champions League group.

Finished third and then knocked out of Europa League by Liverpool.

6) Premier League top scorer will be a player who doesn't play for top four club.

I'd need Lukaku to have a really good run of scoring to make this true. Both the top two don't play for the traditional big two teams though.

7) Arsenal will get to the final of the FA Cup again.

Knocked out in the quarters by Watford.

8) Fellaini will leave Manchester United in January, for Newcastle.

Didn't happen.

9) Falcao will score just 6 goals all year, but three will come against Manchester United across the two games.

Has scored ONE goal all year, scored against Crystal Palace.

10) Louis Van Gaal will retire at the end of the season.

Certainly a possibility.

Didn't do as well with mine

5- Harry Kane will score fewer than 20 goals (in all competitions)
6- No English team will make the semi-final of a European competition
7- Rodgers will somehow manage to keep his job despite not winning anything
8- Newcastle will finish in the top half
9- Crystal Palace will be in the bottom five at the beginning of May
10- A Football League side will go bust
Thought Bolton were going to go for a while, Wenger's starting to look good though.

Not been on here for quite a while so let's see how I did

CFCNick wrote:
1. Diego Costa scores less goals than last season - Unless he scores 9 in 2 games CORRECT

2. Petr Cech makes more clean sheets than Courtois - CORRECT

3. Two established Premier League clubs will be relegated - As it stands CORRECT

4. One Manchester club fails to make the top four - As it stands CORRECT

5. Falcao makes Torres look good - I had honestly forgotten Falcao existed

6. The ending of a Leicester-Watford game will be just as epic as THAT playoff semi final - That was asking for something special to happen

7. Either Pellegrini or LVG get the sack in May - Pellegrini gone

8. Fabian Delph has a better season than Schweinsteiger - Can't say how either has performed tbh

9. More than one team from last seasons top 6 to be eliminated from a cup by lower league opposition - Arsenal lost to Sheffield Wednesday, United lost to Boro

10. Leicester will beat Chelsea and Ranieri will get his own back on Roman 11 years after being sacked for no reason - CORRECT

7/10 not bad
