For the first time, that I can remember, no Fantasy Leaguer picked the winner in Davis Love III.  In fact the highest placed finishers were Paul Casey and Charl Schwartzel who finished in a tie for third.  Hibbz had both of them plus two other top 10 finishes to burst from the pack and take victory.  CJB also had four picks but not quite the same quality whilst Owen10ozzy made a great charge with five of his picks finishing in the points.  They round out the podium places.  Overnight joint leader Kwini also had four picks finish in the points as he finished fourth.  1GrumpyGolfer, AlciG, I'm Never Wrong, McLaren, Raycastleunited, RedRage, and SetupDetermines all had three picks of varying quality score points.  EmmDee57, LadyPutt, Pedro, Sand, and Super_Realist all had two picks of varying quality score points.  BlueCoverman, Davie, Eyetoldyouso, SirBenson, and overnight joint leader, TheCleaver all had one pick score points.

Spencer Levin finished with a flourish, his round of 63 was the best of the day.  Three players, including the popular picks of Brandt Snedeker and Justin Thomas, finshed with 75s.  Troy Kelly was the other to have 75.  Byron Smith finished in last place after a not very good weekend.

Welcome to the last chance saloon!  This tournament provides the cut for the FedEx playoffs and only the top 125 will get to tee it up at the Barclays next week.  Adam Scott headlines the field, Camilo Villegas is the defending champion, and former winners Webb Simpson, Arjun Atwal, Ryan Moore, Carl Pettersson, Brandt Snedeker, Davis Love III, and K.J. Choi are all in attendance.  Only Sergio Garcia and Patrick Reed are missing from the list of recent winners.

There are three Categories where you will need pick three players, plus reserve, from each one.  There are bonus points available if you get all of your picks through in any category.  Get all 9 picks through and you get an even bigger bonus.  It's all way down at the bottom in the scoring section if you are interested.

This is a full field with cut event, cut points will be available; see above.

RULES

Picking players: Unless stated, pick a total of 9 players as follows:

Pick 3 players from each category, plus a reserve per category.

Event winner: The person with the most total points at the completion of each event will be declared the winner. In case of a tie, those involved will match-off each picks' final position score in descending order. i.e. Player A's best finish vs. Player B's best finish, Player A's 2nd best finish vs. Player B's 2nd best finish, etc... until one's pick finishes better than the other(s).

If there is a tie after all 9 picks have been matched against each other, those involved will be declared co-winners.

Order of Merit: The person with the most total points at the completion of the season will be declared the Fantasy League Champion. If there is a tie for total points at the completion of the season, those involved will be declared Co-Champions.

Player Withdrawals: If you pick a player who withdraws during a tournament, that player will be eligible for points for all completed rounds and making the cut if they withdraw after the cut. It must be apparent that the player completed their round for them to be eligible for either the low round, worse round, top 5, or top 10 low round scores.  If a player withdraws before starting the tournament then your reserve will be put in that player's place. It is up to you to
check that your players are in the starting field.

Holidays / Absences: If you will be absent for an upcoming event (e.g holidays) you may post the numbers on the most recent fantasy league event and the respective tournament(s) that apply or PM them to me.  Example: Pick 3 players and 1 reserve from each category and the relative event number or name: Players 4, 5, and 8, reserve 9 from Category A, players 1, 3, and 7, reserve 5 from Category B, players 1, 2 and 17, reserve 12 from Category C, Event #12.

Failure to submit picks: If you do not submit picks you will be awarded zero points.

Deadlines: Picks must ideally be submitted before the first drive is struck on the first day of the tournament.  However, late picks submitted after the tournament has begun must be for players who have yet to start (or are not showing a score on europeantour.com, PGATour.com, etc.), and these will not be valid unless they are seconded by any other league member.

All fantasy league disputes and discrepancies will be considered by the League Judge: LadyPutt. All decisions made by the League Judge are final.

This seemed easy. Only two Fantasy Leaguers troubled the scorer through the pick of Tom Hoge. Two others are wishing they were braver in upgrading Hoge. Kwinigolfer and The Cleaver are off the mark and everyone else is playing catch up.

The low score was 62; Hoge was joined by William McGirt and Erik Compton in achieving this. Three others shot 63 to fill out the top 5 low round scores. Ben Curtis had the worst round of the day with a 79.

I know it's 30 years since Back to the Future first hit cinemas and we've now passed the date in the future that they travelled to in part 2 but did we just go back in time? Tiger Woods leading a golf tournament; is it 2013? Super may find there was good reason to be picking his favourite player.

The cut line fell at -3 and 32 picks are left. Three Fantasy Leaguers came close to having the full set for the weekend but in some cases fell shy by one shot. Two of three were first round leaders Kwinigolfer and TheCleaver however there is now separation due to TheCleaver having the low round scorer in round two. 1GrumpyGolfer also had eight picks and the low round scorer. AlciG, CJB, EmmDee57, LadyPutt, Owen10ozzy, and Raycastleunited all have seven picks left. From that group CJB, EmmDee57, and Owen10ozzy earned two cut bonuses. BlueCoverman, Eyetoldyouso, Hibbz, McLaren, RedRage, and Sand all have six picks left, only McLaren didn't earn a cut bonus. In round three two players tied for the low score with 62; one of those, Jonas Blixt, was a pick and that earned low round points for CJB for the second day in a row. The top 10 low round scores cut off point was 66 and five other picks matched or bettered that mark. CJB, Hibbz, I'm Never Wrong, Kwinigolfer, Owen10ozzy, and SirBenson all had two picks score. Everyone else apart from EmmDee57, McLaren, and SetupDetermines had one pick score points.

As previously there was a tie for low round score and Jason Gore was the other player to shoot 62. Byron Smith shot 78 for the worst round of the day.

For the first time, that I can remember, no Fantasy Leaguer picked the winner in Davis Love III.  In fact the highest placed finishers were Paul Casey and Charl Schwartzel who finished in a tie for third.  Hibbz had both of them plus two other top 10 finishes to burst from the pack and take victory.  CJB also had four picks but not quite the same quality whilst Owen10ozzy made a great charge with five of his picks finishing in the points.  They round out the podium places.  Overnight joint leader Kwini also had four picks finish in the points as he finished fourth.  1GrumpyGolfer, AlciG, I'm Never Wrong, McLaren, Raycastleunited, RedRage, and SetupDetermines all had three picks of varying quality score points.  EmmDee57, LadyPutt, Pedro, Sand, and Super_Realist all had two picks of varying quality score points.  BlueCoverman, Davie, Eyetoldyouso, SirBenson, and overnight joint leader, TheCleaver all had one pick score points.

Spencer Levin finished with a flourish, his round of 63 was the best of the day.  Three players, including the popular picks of Brandt Snedeker and Justin Thomas, finshed with 75s.  Troy Kelly was the other to have 75.  Byron Smith finished in last place after a not very good weekend.
