No doubt Everton fans want to smack Robbie Savage for his commentator's curse:

Re: Capital One Cup Semi Final Draw
really dont see what the fuss is with stones, people cant far to over excited because he's willing to play it out from the back. but nearly every game ive seen him he's been poor
he's young i get it, but he's a fairly poor at actually defending. nowhere near aguero then

stones has been error prone pretty much in every game, for the last two months.
Any update on de Bruyne knee injury, apparantly a season ender? Huge implication for the league.

Well done officials. Once again clueless idiots in these big games.

I think some of the hype has gone to Stones' head, needs to get back to doing the simple things right I think, get back to form. At the moment he holds onto the ball for far too long.

The simple things aren't what get you noticed though, that's his problem. He wants a big move, so is trying to hard with all this ball playing nonsense & being cocky on the ball, which continental sides cream themselves over. His basics of actually defending aren't great, similar to David Luiz, what interested PSG, was his ball playing technical ability & free kick taking etc, not his defending, which everyone knew was a shambles. Stones has an identity problem, either a no nonsense premier league player or a ball player that would suit foreign football, where he will have more time.

Two poor decisions by linesmen in two days. If this isn't evidence that video technology be brought in immediately then I don't know what is. Bet they'd have video replays if a group of players gave the ref a kicking.
SKY spotted the ball was out of play within 15 seconds whilst City were still celebrating. Video ref in the gantry could have relayed the message back to the ref on the pitch to rule the goal out and award a goal kick before they'd finished celebrating.
Struggle to see why there's so much resistance to it

I know, but surely they get to move to the top of the list in this case. Mind you, they must be card carrying supporters of Everton, don't want anyone else jumping the queue...
