They sound good to me! Personally I'd keep it to 9 picks for majors as they are larger field events - I understand what you are saying about them being higher weighted but they are higher weighted for a reason!
Up to you (and general consensus though) - on the subject of weightings, do you only use two of the three weightings? I may have missed it but don't recall 1,2 and 3 all being used .. how about just regular weighting for regular events, and double weight (or 50% increase?) for Majors (and maybe WGC?)

Regular events are weighted 1, WGCs (Doral, Bridgestone, and HSBC) are weighted 2, and Majors are all weighted 3

I'm definitely in favour of some adjustment to Round 2 of no-cut events; otherwise I'll defer to Grumpy's expertise . . . . and patience.

Patience? You should see him on the 1st tee waiting to see if his partner is turning up

I think the weighting is fine. There is loads more interest around the majors, and it encourages more people to play the game.
I'm not saying take away the OOM, but it would be interesting to have an additional table or ranking or something that would encourage the people who play less frequently. I get the impression that some people start off entering a few events, or every other week, but then lose interest because they have nothing to play for compared to the regulars who are steadily racking up the points every week.
At the moment we are creating a situation where the Danny Lee's and Steven Bowditch's of the fantasy league world are higher ranked than the Rory's and the Jay Day's.
Ultimately, it's up to you Grumpy. You do a great job and I'll play to the rules and format you set.

Any rules you can come up with that mean I don't get beaten by 10 points by Mac next year will be OK by me

I would agree with Ray, the weighting seems to work as it is. The excitement of extra points in the majors is a good idea.

This year I reduced the points for worst round and last place because of rubbish players in no cut events and that last place was equal to someone finishing between 11th and 15th; not quite fair to someone who had their pick make a last day charge and finish 16th.
Thoughts for next year:
Possibly limiting reduced field, no cut events and eliminating the likes of the Tournament of Champions?
Reducing picks in majors to 6
Adding Round 2 Top 5 scores for no cut events
Any other ideas you might have?
The only thing that bugs me a bit Grumps and its only a very slight anomaly is the points awarded for Worse Round and Last Place. I mean where else do you get rewarded for poor performance unless you're Wayne Rooney?

I get you Blue, I think they were introduced to help those that picked some shockers but could be eliminated going forward.

My opinion, count or discount as you will Grumps.
Like to have some points for round 2 of no cut events.
Normal PGA/ET events Weighted 1
WGC, ET PGA, and Final series both tours weighted 2.
Majors weighted 3.
Cheers

INW, thanks for your thoughts. Points in round 2 of no cut events will be coming.
Do you mean Wentworth, or whatever it becomes, gets additional weighting and also any events that make up the FedEx Cup playoffs and Race to Dubai Finals series?
I'm not sure Wentworth gets a strong enough field to deserve additional weighting. The playoffs/finals seem to concentrate the field pretty much with players from within the top 200.

Yes I did mean Wentworth, but if you don't think it's worthy then I will go with your decision.
Re the other tournaments, Fed Ex playoffs and R2D Final series I am thinking along the lines that they offer more money than regular events they should be weighted more. I think someone else might have mentioned this.

Thanks Grumps for your work!!
Maybe deduct points for players who miss cuts and also deduct points for people with the worst round instead of rewarding them with points

Take points off people who simply select 1,2,3 in every group a la Mac Corbyn.
