Talking of scary images - here's Big Vern in a kilt!

This one's a cracker.
Good to see Nel and Hardie kilted up. Bit disappointed that Strauss woosed out.
Oh and how did Al Kellock sneak into shot?! I bet he'll bring his boots to every game 'just in case'.
Re: Glasgow Warriors v Connacht, 11 September
Maybe that's another reason he doens't want to come - if they did get him early on low money then he'll know that his stock has significantly risen and he could earn a lot more in Australia.
Low money and living in Glasgow putting him at international exile from Australia - and we wonder why he doesn't want to come!

Re: Glasgow Warriors v Connacht, 11 September
To be fair he could live in Edinburgh and commute, or failing that move to Ayr and become world class (or does it only work if born there?)
I can't see him being at Glasgow for long to be honest, he's moving when his stock is as at an all time high, to somewhere where he won't be eligible to play for Oz. Plus possibly a minor issue, but he's coming over just as Australia are approaching their summer, and we're moving into winter. If he's not fully motivated to be here (I might be doing him a disservice) playing/training most days in the p*ssing rain is going to make it even harder for him to settle, especially for someone who has spent most of their life living in warm/hot/f'ing roasting countries.

It's pretty obvious that he doesn't want to play for Glasgow and will leave at the first opportunity. It really comes down to how desperate Glasgow are.

That was bizzare! And almost very embarrassing for Junior!

This is going to be a tough old night, Glasgow just need to hang in this half and not let it get away like we did last week. We will have a decent wind the next half

Excellent refereeing - stupid from junior though
Glasgow need to stay in touch by half time with that wind

Apparently Hugh Blake was always covering the backs, lets see how this one goes, Toonie always sees things a little differently to others

This looks like the old Glasgow, Blair is really making them tick, pity Lyle seems to have washed his hands with Vasseline

Clegg is a solid signing - surely they'll extend his deal past the world cup? They'll need him in the 6N

Almost goes without saying, but Blair's passing is just delightful

Surely not. Avoiding rucks with that forensic intensity which Kellock brought must take years to master.

He'll soon have that strong carrying game malarkey beaten out of him in order to improve his flapping game.

Jeez, just seen the score. Great effort Glasgow!!
Feel sorry for Cummings re: the comparison. I assume he's having a quiet and ineffective match.

au contraire. Scored a try and in 40 minutes carried more metres than Harley has his entire career.

Oh god that's just horrible to watch!
I love how wonderfully crap Harley's try scoring dive - not so much a dive as a drop to the knees then a tachycardic collapse to the turf.

That was coming. You could see Fagerson was too unsure of himself in the close ups after the first beating by Buckley. No shame in it, hes 19, he'll learn. Far more experienced players have been embarrassed by Buckley.
