Music Cup Round 8 - 100's & 1,000's (PICK 3!!!)
Music Cup 2015 Round 8: Hundreds & Thousands
Results!
Two big shocks this week in the scoring with Rick_Dagless and myself blowing our chances of a win with poor choices. We went old school with Frank Sinatra and the Beach Boys and it blew up in our faces.
CJB's choice meanwhile of Straight Outta Compton romped home with 10 points, is there a secret Crips and Bloods section on the site?
Compelling meanwhile is Mr Consistency, apart from his Elton John episode he's scored a minimum of 6 points in each round.
Adam creeps up the board with menace into 3rd place overall with the soft rock Boston, welcome to dullsville.
Then there's a load of guff fighting it out for the scraps, countries, cities, continents, jeez how difficult is it for you lot to understand a basic principle of a round, one round I'll just going to say pick a song on anything and one of you will still balls that up. Like herding cats at times.
Overall scores
Next Round
War & Peace - Any song in which the title or artist references war or peace!

I've added up the new round though haven't had Sean's or DancingWeeMan's nominations, if I get them I'll add them in as and when.

Only like two, so have only voted for two. I'm a maverick.

The Beethoven is the greatest piece of music ever written and should win this by a country mile.

It got my vote Super. Prefer the second movement but still head and shoulders above anything else on there.

There's also a good chance that it's Galted's pick and that man deserves a vote.
A massive amount of respect to the person who voted for my relatively obscure Mogwai song choice.

It is almost certainly Galted's choice, nothing else on there says Galted quite like that one

Very touching and correct chaps. Went for Nena and Blur, haven't heard of any of the others.
Would have gone for 99 Problems if it was the Ice-T version.

Galted is the ultimate young soul rebel Tina, they were instantly recognisable by the Hi Tecs and Jack Wolfskin jackets.

Galted is about as rebellious as Trevor McDonald.

This is a man with an Eastern European missus Tina. A man who wears a T shirt saying I can't speak Icelandic, in Icelandic!. He is tearing up the rule book on a daily basis.

Galted works in I.T. Just let those words sink in for a minute. Have any of you ever seen how those wildmen roll. Clearly you haven't because you would not be so quick to mock otherwise.

Too right. I have picked a proper song for the next round. Will be genuinely gutted if that performs true to form, great song by one of my favourite artists ever.

Okay Rowley I'll vote for yours as long as you confirm it isn't Blur, Eminem, Jay Zee, Lennon, Machine Head, Mogwai, Muse, Ponce, or anything where the number is written in letters as opposed to numerals.

Truly awful round. I don't mind some songs on there, but don't really like them. Galted and Three Dog night are the two i happily chose, Jay Z got the other by default.

Clarification required for next round. Does the song title or artist have to specifically include the words "war" or peace" or do they just have to allude to war or peace?

Just choose your bloody song. People will either vote or not.
You're not even in the conversation for the winners so what does it matter.

Whoever chose "99 problems" needs a slap as it was originally done by Ice T on the "Home Invasion" album. Also, "A Thousand Lies" by Machine head is better than "Ten Ton Hammer"...Hammersmith, I'm looking at you here!!!!!!!!
