Moronic from England. Farrell should be sacked his defensive midfield rush has lost us that game along with stupid ruck discipline.

Great win for Wales, in possibly the biggest RWC pool match to date. I'm very proud and feeling extremely lucky right now. Still a shame about all our injuries though!

Well done Wales. Beating England in their own World Cup- quite an achievement. I think Australia will beat both of these teams, but there is a potential three-way tie if England can beat Australia. But I don't think they will beat Australia.

England; questionable selection, bottled it at the end. I'm thinking they are going out of their own World Cup early to be honest. I don't say that to wind anyone up- I think Australia are a very good team, and big improvements are needed. I don't see the leadership or class that turns a tight game from a loss into a win in this England team.

Fair play to the boys, 2 players off like that yet more injuries and they did it. Massive tactical mistake there bringing Ford on and moving Farrell to fly half. That was the difference.

When the wheels came off the chariot we were there, when the wheels came off the chariot we were there, when Lancaster was sleeping, Gatland came creeping... when the wheels came off the chariot we were there! angel

What a game!!!!

Commiserations England.

Congrats Wales. You showed incredible spirit after having lost more players during the game, to fight with everything you had, and leave the game as victors. Very impressive.

Enjoy your night Ale

A great win for Wales. England. well can i say they was in the lead at half time, but gave away too many penalties.

Wales getting even more injuries. Just how bad get it get for Wales with the injuries?

But well played to Wales for hanging there and never giving up.

Well done Wales. I feel almost physically sick with that loss, but have to salute Wales determination and skills.

England though... What to say, we were the better team for a lot of the first half but that second half just kicked way too much, played players out of position. And then Wigglesworth typified our negative gameplan by not running into score with no one infront.

Firstly many congrats to Wales - a thoroughly deserved victory and great composure at the end.

As for England....oh dear....moronic. The lack of leadership in difficult times has been a recurring theme with Robshaw. But I also think the usual late replacements did not help.

They can salvage themselves against Australia but they will certainly need better composure.

Great second half performance by Wales. Don't think the changes helped England. Have not been impressed by Anthony Watson in this tournament.

The difference was Wales having enough trust in their kicker to nail the difficult three points, rather than stupidly risking a line-out.

I can't fathom that decision by Robshaw. Ludicrous.

Brilliant by Wales, though, to be clinical when their chance arrived, and to punish England for every silly error.

Well positives that the pack was well on top but midfield predictable. Barritt again poor. Wales did well to pressurise but really shouldn't have been in a position to do so.

One of the strangest and daftest calls I have ever seen in the modern game. Robshaw deserves the captaincy stripped from him.

What were they expecting, another Japan scenario? Japan had nothing to lose, and everything to gain with a win. Even if they had lost, they would have gained the respect of everyone watching for almost pulling off the inevitable. England could have equalised and they were in a far better position to win against Australia and get through the group than Wales, given the injuries.

Shocking decision, absolute madness. I actually cannot fathom that decision.

I don't actually think it was a ludicrous decision, I want England to play positive rugby. They didn't lose the match in that moment, they lost it game in the whole second half

I'm no fan of Garces but apart for a few missed knock ons he did have a great game and the best refereeing display so far in this World Cup.

There's a difference between positive rugby and stupid rugby, though. If that decision came in the 60th, 65th minute, say, it would be more understandable. But to gamble it all, particularly when the line-out had been far from spectacular, and the driving maul was non-existent, was ludicrous.

A draw would have been ok at that stage.

Well done to my Welsh brothers.

Guts, calm heads under pressure and a big game kicker.

Lancaster hamstrung his team for this game and that is a real shame.

What will Australia be thinking about this pool now?

it's them and wales going through.  this eng side are poor.

That's what they said when we got our arses handed to us against South Africa in the group stages

Australia are backing themselves to win every game. Besides- Wales still have to play Fiji. Magnificent from Wales today but those last two fixtures look much harder if they don't get some players back. It'll not be easy to rack the BP up against Fiji with a seriously depleted back line.

At least they still have the spine of their team together; the front row, Alun Wyn-Jones, Sam Warburton and Biggar.

The BP system makes the group more open than it should be. England are only three points adrift of Wales, presently.

"Could" have, hindsight is a wonderful thing... It was kick from the touch line to draw.

Are you seriously trying to justify that decision? It was absolutely moronic beyond belief, and clearly Robshaw cannot handle the pressure of these high intensity games.

Do you seriously think that going for a line-out was a better decision than going for a shot at goal with your 100% kicker to equalise? Think about the variables that could go wrong when kicking for a line-out. You don't have to think too hard; you saw what went wrong tonight!

Bringing Ford on for Burgess made absolutely no sense and guess what Jamie Roberts found himself in space for the first time in the game thereafter, gambling on the Welsh injuries was a pathetic decision from SL.

Stupid stupid stupid .

"From the shell-shocked England players trudging out of the dressing-room post-match like zombies, to the thousands of stunned fans who streamed away from Twickenham in silence, the question was the same.

How the hell did that happen?"

Faletau was poor in the 1st half but he showed why he is world class in the 2nd half, turned the match around by himself, imo.

Lancaster loves his pre-meditated substitutions.
