Maybe but who will be the Lamaison style playmaker? Both teams are already out on their legs.
Yeah, I think there will be some more twists and turns, a lucky bounce of the ball for France here and there... but NZ won't lose this one.

Sensible call for the yellow - stupid from Picamoles. You're never going to get away with that.

Reverse the penalty? Laugh

Well flipping done referee. Nothing about McCaw blatantly coming in from the side, laying on the wrong side, and preventing the quick take of the penalty?

Atrocious officiating. Shouldn't New Zealand just get the cup now?

Um, yes duty that's what the penalty was for. And then Picamoles punched him in the face which supersedes his offence.

Gotta love people so bitter about New Zealand that a yellow for punching a guy in the face is 'awful refereeing' Rolling Eyes

You're either a blatant troll, or you have no clue about rugby at all.

McCaw was penalised for being a nuisance. The French guy punched him. Reversed. Simple as that.

It wasn't a punch. The referee said as much. It was a tap.

Something that Richie McCaw would get away with the other way round.

McCaw should have been binned for a combination of:

a) Coming up the side of the maul (initial penalty)
b) Lying on the wrong side of the ruck
c) Lying on top of the ball to prevent the French taking a quick tap penalty

All in his own 22 as well.

i have read the laws. all of them. you invented the closed fist to the face. it is NOT mentioned in the laws.

therefore you must be either wumming or trying to pull a fast one over people who dont know the specifics of the laws.

Well flipping done referee. Nothing about McCaw blatantly coming in from the side, laying on the wrong side, and preventing the quick take of the penalty?

Atrocious officiating. Shouldn't New Zealand just get the cup now?

You're either a blatant troll, or you have no clue about rugby at all.

McCaw was penalised for being a nuisance. The French guy punched him. Reversed. Simple as that.

Quit the pathetic trolling

The French guy did not punch him. The referee said he didn't punch him.

A closed fist to the face is auto yellow. If it was a full punch it is red

Laugh Are you making this up as you go along?

Go read the rule book. That's all that needs to be said.

As mentioned just watch the rugby.

There's nothing in the rule book about 'closed' or 'open' fists.

Did they not know it doesn't work for the Welsh against the SH? Run

Law 10.4

(a) Punching or striking. A player must not strike an opponent with the fist or arm, including the elbow, shoulder, head or knee(s).

Seems extremely obvious that Picamoles actions involved striking McCaw in the face with his fist. You have to be pretty blinkered to objet to a yellow for that.

Quins - what are you doing here? You're embarrassing yourself, you're like the loud and obnoxious drunk at the pub who refuses to go home. Just let people enjoy the game, flip me. Laugh
