Good. It was in the pipeline ages ago but when I floated that Thunder and Wood should lose first round (I wanted this as part of a story arch where for some reason they just couldnt get the job done together...back then Wood won matches so it would have been a big deal) I think the booking committee moved away from ever letting me consider ideas ever again!

We did have a Tag Team edition of Anarchy last year but it is hard to do something outside of storylines but involve the tag titles - If it was a standalone tournament like the Dusty Rhodes thing or the old EWF Iron man then that fits better - Would still try and weave some of it into stories as long as it wasn't to complex

To answer my own QOTD, in a perfect world it would be
Kurt Angle as the sort of veteran who would be followed by:
CM Punk (Basically the main guy in the team), Batista (The strong guy who feels the fans gave up on him), John Morrison (The high flyer who should have been pushed more), Dolph Ziggler (the current guy who should be pushed but isn't) and AJ Styles and The Young Bucks (I know they've not been in WWE before but I'd have them talk about how they've been the best all over the world and they've been overlooked).
I'd have them clash with HHH, Cena and other WWE faces while internal clashes between Punk and the others would finally cause a break up...during this I'd bring Balor up to feud with Styles to help turn the Bucks face (as they would clearly be too over to be major heels) reforming a version of the Bullet Club which would allow us to see them in matches against teams like The New Day and The Wyatt Family...Balor goes for a singles title while the Bucks win the tag titles.

Re: 6CW Chat v8
I disagree. The Forgotten aren't former 6CW main event stars. Why would they be Angle/Punk/Batista?
At least my answer has forgotten stars. Which is what The Forgotten is. They basically didn't make it first time around.

Not quite job squad, just weren't given a fair shot previously so turned to Mr Jones and became part of The Forgotten.
With all respect The Forgotten wouldn't have worked if it was a load of former Champions.

I think a returning ex-Champ would have helped the story and given the team a leader that has deep ties with the company

There's a question!
I think it is working now but there's a lot more to come I'd hope.
A returning ex-GM was enough of a leader I think. The Forgotten needed it's participants to have been forgotten.

Punk publicly had issues with HHH and felt pushed to the back...Batista was pushed away by the fans when he won the Rumble last year. Angle is now seen as a TNA guy etc.

Re: 6CW Chat v8
Punk you could for sure...he says himself he felt pushed to the back during his own title run...he was the champion of the company but numerous times was pushed to the back for John Cena...he lost his title to a returning star in the form of the Rock so that he could face Cena in the main event.
Punk feels he didn't get what he deserved from the company, so if he was to come back a Forgotten storyline would be perfect for him.

He was one of the biggest stars in Wrestling especially after the so called pipebomb, so in the limelight or not or overshadowed by Cena or not he still isnt "Forgotten" by anyone

As I've said...it's based on how "he" felt...you could argue that Masters and Joshua aren't Forgotten but they're still involved aren't they.
He was one of the biggest stars but he felt pushed back by Cena despite being the champion...Cena vs Rock headlined over him. This isn't my opinion this is actually how he's described how the company made him feel.

And as I've said above how many members in The Forgotten are "Forgotten" ex-members of 6CW/EWF
If the storyline was in the WWE and Punk returned to be a member of The Forgotten of course people would be shocked and excited but on the other hand wondering why they think he was forgotten but just a cry baby because there were bigger star than him

Re: 6CW Chat v8
Afternoon people,
I think the initial point of the Forgotten, as the 4 piece, was correct. Stars that for some reason or another have fallen out of favour or never reached their potential.
Once Joshua joined, that faded as the group's policy. Even more so than when Masters and Jones joined.
Personally now I think The Forgotten doesn't have to mean Forgotten in a wrestling sense but for other examples. Jones explained it well in a segment a few weeks back. Joshua, for instance, was Forgotten by humanity and shunted up into that childhood nursery.
However, as a group, I think it is more a name now than an ideal
Personally my Forgotten would be (and I am using examples across the history of WWE/F)
Marty Jannety (The failed member of the Rockers)
Jim Duggan (won first Rumble but went onto nothing)
Muhammad Hassan (dropped embarrassingly)
Honky Tonk Man (pinned in 31 seconds by Ultimate Warrior after being longest reigning IC champ. Went down the card after)
Vladimir Kozlov (bigged up hugely but then fell to nothing - Rusev took his gimmick and got more out of it)

The idea of them being Forgotten made the stable unique, out looking for revenge on the company that wronged them, now they are just like all the other heel stables down the line, power mad boss that wants the company

Re: 6CW Chat v8
I feel compelled to join in, i will ask about dinner later to set everyone at ease but i see this debate as the exact problem with The Forgotten and why they will start to fall apart.
The Group itself is basically a microcosm (right word?) of the original forgottens careers so far. While yes they were able to take power for Mr Jones, it was as part of the group not individually. (So nobody stands out)
But now Joshua, Masters Crime Lord have joined, who as leader would you turn to if you needed, say Keith Leone taken out. It wouldnt be, no disrespect, Jimmy Phillips.
So i can see these guys becoming the forgotten in the forgotten and that will cause the group problems. Maybe
Just how i see it

I'd say this is why I hope the "Forgotten vs 6CW" stuff kind of dies on its a*** a bit. It didnt make anyone strong. It was a story that kind of had to be done, but not one that I felt has benefited anyone really, and it only really did any good for Thunder and Adamson across the whole feud.

I dont think its a bad thing, would make for an interesting dynamic of a faction in faction as they struggle to keep control.
Would give folks a chance to break out from the group.

Re: 6CW Chat v8
I think this is something that happens within a lot of story lines...you hit a point where it's probably run it's course and we may be getting to that point here with The Forgotten as a group...it wouldn't shock me to have Austin and Hokori lose the tag title belts tonight to allow them to become the first two to leave the group...I feel Austin isn't the sort of guy who can survive with others for that long so him being the first to jump/be pushed would make sense.
I think for what it's worth the Forgotten story line up until this point has been amazing.
