Can't access the video at work but as far as Rigo goes, he's definitely a victim of his own success/style. Too good for his own good but then also saddled with a promoter who admits himself that he can't sell his man to the public.
All the saying goes, if it wasn't for bad luck he'd have no luck at all.

The summary is he is trying to get all the big fights without doing anything to earn them, he might be the best, but he needs to build himself by fighting whoever will fight him, like Golovkin is doing
He is a huge risk with no reward, Donaire got suckered into it and look where that got him, Rigo wants the big fights but brings nothing to the table and we as boxing fans have proven that if you take that risk it literally finishes your career
Rigo needs to get active and start fighting whoever is willing, if that's down in weight or up in weight. That's why he is a victim in his own mind, if he starts whooping people and getting his name in lights then the bigger fights will come, you can't just jump the queue it doesn't work that way
How many super stars do you know with just 15 fights? Who did he fight before he fought Donaire?
In an ideal world the best would fight the best, but then like I said above we have showed as fans that someone right at the top (Donaire) loses everything by doing so, he is now a bum, overated, never that good.
Not saying that is the consensus on this forum, but elsewhere on youtube, people with 5 second memories are saying it.

The Not sure where you're going with this BF88. He's not going to get credit for beating no-marks who'll fight him. He beat Córdoba, a good champion in his 7th or 8th fight to pick up a strap... Then a few fights later beats donaire in a 'unification' fight. Donaire was a big name and it was a big win... Ultimately, he's Cuban, he doesn't lead with his face... Ergo in the warped world of boxing he's not a draw. What's he supposed to do about it? He's hardly jumped a queue by collecting two belts.
Ultimately if he wants a pay check he's going to have to go up in weight where he becomes more of an acceptable risk... He'll be doing it without the frame or style to suit it... The alternative is to continue collecting south East Asian's on his cv. That's pretty much his options.

He's a victim of his weight and style, nothing else. I quite like him, but if you need to sell more tickets you need to try and please those who buy them.

He's got a style for the purists and not the fans. Cagey, smooth and brilliant, but not exciting or engaging and due to the nationality it's not like he can make up for it with his mouth like floyd did
He needs to fight, just fight, whoever, whenever, he beats most people just keep fighting a things will open up and when it does he will have to take it.

He needs to keep active, keep his name around, he hasn't fought in nearly a year.
