Four Fantasy Leaguers picked Kristoffer Broberg and it's not too difficult to spot three of them.  After being dismissed as a Champions League spot contender TheCleaver delivered one hell of a pep talk to his picks.  Five of them, including the aforementioned Broberg, finished in the top nine.  TheCleaver not only stormed to victory but takes over at the top of the standings.  Kwinigolfer was another to have five picks score points but his were of nowhere near the same amount of quality as TheCleaver's.  Super_Realist and SirBenson both had Broberg and three other picks score points.  Super's lot also finished within the top ten.  

1GrumpyGolfer, Beninho, EmmDee57, Eyetoldyouso, I'm Never Wrong, Raycastleunited, and SetupDetermines also had four picks of varying quality score points.  BlueCoverman, Hibbz, kouchi, Owen10ozzy, and Sand had three picks score points.  Davie, LadyPutt, MustPuttBetter, and Pedro had two picks score points while AlciG had just the one.  Alci's pick was Broberg so that wasn't too bad.

Soren Kjeldsen shot 64 to move into the top ten and that earned points for I'm Never Wrong, Super_Realist, and TheCleaver.  Mu Hu had a 79 for the worst round and that earned points for MustPuttBetter.  The Chinese amateur Zhou Huan Yuan finished in last place.

The third leg of the European Tour Race to Dubai Finals Series means we're at the penultimate of the Summer/Autumn Session.  Justin Rose, ranked at number 6, headlines the field as players look to catch up with Rory McIlroy and Danny Willett at the top of the Race to Dubai standings.  Shane Lowry, Louis Oosthuizen, and Branden Grace join Rose as their closest challengers.  Henrik Stenson is the only other player from within the top 10.  The majority of tournament invitations make up the bottom third of Category C so there's lots of Asian golfers to choose from in the race to last place, alternatively John Daly could be a good shout for this too.

This is the fourth running of the BMW Masters and only one of the former champions is here.  Marcel Siem will attempt to defend his title.  Gonzalo FDez-Castano and Peter Hanson won in 2013 and 2012 respectively.

Due to the limited field size the number of picks is scaled back to two from each category plus reserve.  This is also a no cut event so the usual cut bonuses are not in effect.

RULES

Picking players: Unless stated, pick a total of 6 players as follows:

Pick 2 players from each category, plus a reserve per category.

Event winner: The person with the most total points at the completion of each event will be declared the winner. In case of a tie, those involved will match-off each picks' final position score in descending order. i.e. Player A's best finish vs. Player B's best finish, Player A's 2nd best finish vs. Player B's 2nd best finish, etc... until one's pick finishes better than the other(s).

If there is a tie after all 6 picks have been matched against each other, those involved will be declared co-winners.

Order of Merit: The person with the most total points at the completion of the season will be declared the Fantasy League Champion. If there is a tie for total points at the completion of the season, those involved will be declared Co-Champions.

Player Withdrawals: If you pick a player who withdraws during a tournament, that player will be eligible for points for all completed rounds and making the cut if they withdraw after the cut. It must be apparent that the player completed their round for them to be eligible for either the low round, worse round, top 5, or top 10 low round scores.  If a player withdraws before starting the tournament then your reserve will be put in that player's place. It is up to you to check that your players are in the starting field.

Holidays / Absences: If you will be absent for an upcoming event (e.g holidays) you may post the numbers on the most recent fantasy league event and the respective tournament(s) that apply or PM them to me.  Example: Pick 3 players and 1 reserve from each category and the relative event number or name: Players 4, 5, and 8, reserve 9 from Category A, players 1, 3, and 7, reserve 5 from Category B, players 1, 2 and 17, reserve 12 from Category C, Event #12.

Failure to submit picks: If you do not submit picks you will be awarded zero points.

Deadlines: Picks must ideally be submitted before the first drive is struck on the first day of the tournament.  However, late picks submitted after the tournament has begun must be for players who have yet to start (or are not showing a score on europeantour.com, PGATour.com, etc.), and these will not be valid unless they are seconded by any other league member.

All fantasy league disputes and discrepancies will be considered by the League Judge: LadyPutt. All decisions made by the League Judge are final.

Based on current form it wouldn’t be unlikely with 3 Danes and 3 Swedes in the team. Can’t see anymore though – unless Darren’s buddy Bjorn resurrects once again.
