Ref List:

The Referees for the six nations have been appointed.

Good news for Ireland.

Glen Jackson at Murrayfield - he certainly caused a lot of controversy the last time he was there!

I can't think why Joubert isn't featuring in any of the Murrayfield games. We'd play nice. Honest.

On a happier note, it's good to see Nigel Owens get the final game: Fr v Eng game in Paris: I just hope he isn't being wasted on the Wooden Spoon decider.

Surely the 6ns should be a clean plate for All Referees. After all no use holding a grudge now is it? What is done is done. thumbsup

No Barnes for any Irish games. Guns, you must be happy.

In fact he only gets one game, as does Nige  Shocked .  Is it just me or is there more SH refs then usual?

Yes I am. I was also happy we didnt get him in the world cup. Unless a referee is really good I dont think there is anything to be gained from getting the same referee a lot and we seemed to get him a lot.

Joubert running touch for Ireland v Scotland......

Well, at least he won't have as far to run back to the changing room.

Seems to be quite a spread of refs, only Peypper and Jackson have got more than one game (don't mind that, best two SH refs IMO), and as mentioned lots of SH refs. Perhaps an attempt to get NH sides up to speed with SH interpretations? As an England fan, not best pleased with Joubert for the Wales game, but not too fussed about the other appointments.

Pleased that Garces got a high profile game, thought he had an excellent WC.
