Vince encourages Sheamus to get up. They both get up and trade big shots. Reigns with clotheslines for a big pop. Sheamus dumps him to the apron but Reigns gets the upperhand and hits the Drive By. Reigns with a Samoan Drop but Vince does a very slow 2 count and fans boo. Reigns shakes his head at Vince and isn't happy. Sheamus comes back with a running knee. Reigns blocks White Noise. Reigns with a sitdown powerbomb but Vince is slow to get down again. Vince acts like he has something in his eye and calls for some eye drops. Reigns stares Vince down and Sheamus rolls him up for a quick 2 count. Reigns ends up hitting a Superman punch but Vince slowly drops down but doesn't even count. Vince stands back up and Reigns turns around to face him. Reigns says he warned Vince. Reigns tells Vince to watch this as he prepares to spear Sheamus but nails Vince with a Superman punch instead. Sheamus misses the Brogue Kick and Reigns spears him. Reigns covers for the win but there is no referee.
Reigns yells for another referee to come out but no one shows up. Reigns goes out for another Drive By on Sheamus. He jumps off the steel steps with another Superman punch and then sends Sheamus over the announce table. Reigns turns his attention back to Vince and goes back in the ring as fans chant his name. Reigns grabs Vince and manhandles him but Stephanie McMahon's music hits. She hurries to the ring and gets on the apron. Reigns throws Vince into her, they both tumble into the ring. Reigns ends up going for a spear on Vince as Stephanie watches from the floor. Sheamus stops it with a Brogue and hits another. Vince doesn't count, apparently because he's still dazed. Scott Armstrong runs down to count the pin but Reigns kicks out at 2. Armstrong holds Reigns while Sheamus goes to Brogue him but Reigns breaks out and hits a Superman punch on Sheamus, and then one for Armstrong. Another referee runs down and counts Reigns' pin on Sheamus.
Winner: Roman Reigns
- After the match, Vince and Stephanie look on from ringside and aren't happy. Vince clutches his jaw. Vince knocks out referee John Cone for making the count. Vince announces that Reigns will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Title at the Royal Rumble... inside the 30-man main event against 29 other Superstars. RAW goes off the air with Reigns looking on.

- After the match, Slater celebrates at ringside with Curtis Axel, Rose and Bo. Slater takes the mic and says he found some friends. Rose says they're four unique guys that are ready to ride, ready to ride, ready to ride... Axel takes the mic and says he was lost but now he's found. Axel says the chains are off. He yells it over and over. Bo says they are all standing together after getting knocked down. Slater calls them the Social Outcasts and drops the mic. Bo picks it back up and says to Bo-lieve. They tell Bo to come on and pose together as Slater's music hits.
This might be the first RAW I have watched in years. Sounds like my kind of thing.

Guessing Reigns enters first
Guessing HHH eliminates him.

What's the point in having a 4 man group called the SocialOutcasts when that's exactly what The Wyatts are?

Maybe, i was thinking more brock might be the one who eliminates him, think HHH will be somehow involved though and rock comes down leading to rock v HHH at Mania

Cant believe theyve gone for title in the Rumble. Makes it very interesting but also seems a real way to book yourselves into a corner.
Exciting, although the s*** thrown at them if Roman wins will be internet crazy.
Its a shame in some ways though as I like the build from Rumble to Mania and the number one contender waiting for his chance. Theres a few things up in the air with HHH, The Rock, Lesnar and Reigns but it feels like Reigns is fighting for the title regardless.
Good Raw though.

So will the winner of the Rumble be the champion? Or the person that eliminates Reigns?

If it was me booking it (and If Vince reads my Twitter, it is) then it would be the winner of the Rumble wins the title.

So could you have Brock coming back to win the Rumble and therefore the title, and then facing Cena for the US title at Wrestlemania?
If he wins it back prior

I said I would have him start at one and last till the final four. He doesnt need to do much in the match or eliminate a lot of people but needs to survive a good few elimination attempts. Triple H then comes in and eliminates him. This frees up Reigns to face HHH at Mania and someone (maybe Lesnar) to win the title, then you have a match at Fastlane for the No.1 contender spot. This would be a good time to move the EC PPV back to the Feb slot, but I dont think that'll happen.

Re: WWE Raw Results - Someone has been reading 606v2
I think there's a good chance Cena will be winning the Title at the Rumble and if I'm honest it's not something that disappoints me, the WWE like to tie in a lot of storylines and Cena drawing level with Ric Flair on 16 World Titles by winning the World Title the way only one man Ric Flair has won it will probably feel like too good an opportunity to turn down.
Cena has won 15 World Titles ready but you'd be hard pushed to find many of those wins that truly stand out, winning it in the Royal Rumble match would certainly feel unique, I'd bet more people who watch it wont have been around the last time it happened as opposed to those who were.

I'm not a fan at all of the match being for the title.
I can see the winner being either HHH, Lesnar or Cena. Maybe even reigns himself.

I like the idea of the Rumble being for the title, it certainly makes it more interesting.
What I don't like is the thought of Reigns winning the Rumble two years in a row. I also don't like the idea of Cena potentially winning the Rumble for a third time.
Two storyline's I would like to see play out is HHH eliminate Reigns and Lesnar go absolutely berzerk in the Rumble only to be eliminated by someone like Owens or Wyatt setting up a feud. Or better yet, Daniel Bryan.

Somewhere, whilst frantically tapping out in an Octagon, CM Punk has a wry smile on his face…
That being said you still wouldn’t bet against WWE pulling it out of the bag and delivering a great Mania. My early card would look like this (If the Cena injury reports are true)…
WWE Title – Triple H (c) w/Shawn Michaels in his corner vs Roman Reigns w/The Rock in his corner.
Brock Lesnar vs Bray Wyatt
The Undertaker vs Kevin Owens
The New Day vs The League of Nations
Dean Ambrose vs Chris Jericho – IC Title
That card is probably way off, and with the likes of Bryan and Batista who could potentially return, I still think there’s enough to offer a decent card. (I’m calling it now and predicting Bryan will indeed return at the Rumble).

Punk will go back to WWE one day but think it'll be a couple of years yet, he loves Wrestling, he might not be to high on it right now but most Pro Wrestlers, particularly ones at such a high level feed off the live crowd, the buzz of performing, the novelty of UFC will wear off soon I imagine when after being locked away in training camps for months on end he realises real combat competition wont enable him to feed off the live crowd in the same way, I expect him to have a few matches over the next two years, he wont want to quit after all the effort, after he has did it I believe the taste for his true passion will see him go back, ironically enough he'll likely command a spot that often kept him out of the Main Event when he was at his peak.

Just reading about Cena's injury, apparently he felt it was best to get the op ASAP, that to me says he and the E must believe he's got a fighting chance of being ready for Mania, if not I think they may have just kept him well protected to get through Mania then have the surgery.

I was thinking that it might be a sign of Cena's full-time relationship with WWE coming to an end. I think that perhaps it's something he could have worked through in the past, but now that his movie career is kind of taking off, with two stand-out roles in Trainwreck and Sisters, he's taking the time off anyway and WWE are forced to work out what to do without him. He can then take time off, probably audition for other film and TV stuff.

You cant blame Cena, he's not a young guy anymore and has been the face of the company for 10 years straight now. You ask me the guy deserves a break. If Rollins, Orton, Cesaro et all werent injured aswell they could more than handle losing him for a couple months here and there.
