Seconded. Hopefully Tibaldi will help with putting pace on the game and Horwill will make our pack grow a pair.

Yes please do - LI need all the help they can get to stay off the bottom. Losing Ben Franks to a long term injury as well as a host of other forwards already out was the last thing we needed on top of the issues we have at Fly Half.ChequeredJersey wrote:Please let us play well against Falcons tomorrow

Hopefully we'll give Newcastle nothing, just for you.

Jaysus - what is happening in this Bath side? Cannot buy a win.

To be fair, Sarries are hardly the easiest side to start winning against! In fact, I think only one, fairly exceptional , team has beaten them this season...

With Burgess and the world cup both Ford snr & jnr appeared to spit the dummy at the start of this season.
That said, and given Ford's obvious bias for the ball in hand 'league' approach, I do think that the forward's and specifically the forward coaches have let the side down.
To be strait forward there's a number of flaky individuals within the Bath coaching set up and I'm sure they're all enjoying the owner's hansom wages.
I can't see the current state of affairs continuing beyond this season.

Re: Aviva Premiership - Round 10
Burgess leaving clearly split the camp and they haven't managed to replace him. He wasn't quite international quality but he was getting there as a 6. His work rate, particularly in defence, allowed others to shine in other ways. We saw vs Sarries in the final last season there were cracks in the Bath game plan. I think those cracks are now bigger and being exposed more. Certainly injuries in the tight five and the lack of quality signings up front have also hurt them, Denton is awful.

Re: Aviva Premiership - Round 10
According to some Scottish bloke on Five Live, Newcastle "should beat" Harlequins. And we are starting loads of academy players.
I don't actually think we are starting ANY academy players?

Quins making stacks of handling errors. We've messed up 3/3 restarts which seems to our thing

Awful from quins so far. Hopefully we can sort this shambles out at half time

Re: Aviva Premiership - Round 10
Hate to say this but we're kind of comfortable at the minute. Any momentum Quins get is getting stopped by poor handling. I'd like to see Goode get on early in the 2nd half to keep us playing in the right areas.

That is flipping criminal by Falcons! Seconds from half time, we miss touch and about a thousand tackles. So frustrating!

Bets on us having a strong 3rd quarter then making the game close and possibly losing it in the 4th quarter?

Great play from Ward for the try. Don't think he'll ever play for England but what a huge asset to Quins.

Re: Aviva Premiership - Round 10
Dont think we're going to lose. Would like to put in a better performance second half though, all too forced. Same problem we've had a few times this season, stupid decisions, making things too complicated.

How much?
I'm certain O'Shea will put things right at half time and they'll play with a lot more bite and accuracy. Quins with a bonus point for me.

Chisholms decision making is absolutely horrendous.
Sloan has been catching the eye this half after a quiet first though.
