Pro 12: Scarlets vs Edinburgh Rugby 12th Feb

Scarlets have lost just one of their last eight home games at Parc y Scarlets in the PRO12: 26-27 to Ospreys on Boxing Day.

Edinburgh Rugby have slipped to successive defeats, to Grenoble in the European Challenge Cup and at Cardiff Blues in the Guinness PRO12.

Edinburgh's solitary victory on their last five trips to Wales came on their most recent visit to Parc y Scarlets in March 2015.

The two meetings between the clubs in the Guinness PRO12 last season ended in a 20-all draw at BT Murrayfield and a 26-15 Edinburgh win in Wales.

Edinburgh's overall record at Parc y Scarlets is won two, lost six.

You are right I suppose - as good as it would be for the under 20s to do well (and let's not get carried away - they've only won one game) it ultimately doens't count for much.

Edinburgh need to get a top 6 spot.

But as we've said - there are alternative options for Solomons that would have been just as useful. Especially given that he rarely actually uses his subs!

I'd be mighty p!ssed off if I was Ritchie or Kinghorn and only got 5 minutes off the bench,

This is a strong Edinburgh scrum, even if it is the reserve! Scarlets have gone for bulk so i'm very surprised by such domination.

Great scrum but we've shown very little ability to actually win this game!

Good immediate impact from Turner stripping the ball

A bit unfair to penalise a player knocked out for not rolling away!

Morgan Allen is doing some damage to the Edinburgh defense.

Scarlets are very physical in contact - we're getting no where with our one out pass and carry tactics

Such predictable and ineffective attacking play! Scarlets are blitzing hard and hitting hard and we're just lining ourselves up to meet them

Terrible scrum call - we've been destroying them all game and when the scrum collapses (due to a terrible pitch) he gives them a pen??

How is the new Scarlets' lock doing?

Better last 20 from Edinburgh but nothing to show from it.

Scarlets haven't done much since their try but feed off mistakes - they haven't had to!

Watch Andress' feet, too far away. Those collapses are totally logical and it hasn't been the first time, Andress has been doing this since he came to Edinburgh.

Despite Kennedy's best effort, Edinburgh score a good try!

Edinburgh have played much of the rugby but our stupid mistakes and terrible goal kicking is going to cost us I suspect

Surely Tonks won't miss this...
