Definitely well deserved win for Dave here, steamrollered through the league so no complaints. Deshaun Watson having a mare ended my hopes early in both this league and the Central, but hope to be going back for the treble next season.

I'll send a message on the website too, but am assuming everyone is back in for this league next year, please let me know if not

Will also look to get a couple of rules ironed out for next season in the next couple of weeks. The first deadline will be to select the 18 + 1 kicker keepers from each of your squads, the rest will have to be dropped as per usual.

As ever, would like to have the roster cuts done way ahead of free agency so everyone is on a level playing field.

2020 v2 Dynasty!

TLDR
- Set 19 keepers (inc 1 kicker) by 1 March
- Vote on whether we need something to reward people to stop tanking

Hi all, welcome to the latest season of the v2 Dynasty league. Hopefully all will be returning, and it will continue to be a competitive and enjoyable league.

As per every year, you're all required to set 19 keepers from your current squad, with all other players being released into the free agent pool. One of those players must be a kicker. This year, NFL Free Agency kicks off on March 18. I'm therefore setting the deadline for all keepers to be set by 1 March, so that no one has any more info on free agency than others!.

If keepers are not set by then, I'll automatically select a kicker and the 18 highest ranked players in the squad on https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/rankings/dynasty-overall.php to be your keepers

To set keepers: Go to your team page > settings > keepers

I'd like to get a consensus on a method to avoid tanking - this is to make sure that no one begins playing to lose to gain a better draft position

Couple of questions on this
1. Do you think this is necessary - yes / no
2. Which of these proposed methods do you prefer:
a) Give the highest scoring team (not in championship playoffs) over the season an extra first round pick (number 13)
b) Give the highest scoring team (not in championship playoffs) over the 3 playoff weeks an extra first round pick
c) Give the winner of the consolation playoffs an extra first round pick

Will decide based on the consensus, if you don't vote you don't get to moan later!

To set keepers: Go to your team page > settings > keepers

If you can't figure it out you can send me a list and I can add them manually

The previous season was very competitive and hopefully that continues.

1. No I don't think it's necessary (not anything as drastic as handing out extra picks anyway)

2. I can't support any of these options (not even option C) as there is a significant chance of affecting parity.

I could support utilising optimum points scored in some way in order to stop better teams from tanking without gifting extra draft picks. I'm not 100% sure what the best way to do this is.

Keeper deadline is this week, as far as I can tell most teams are already done

I think we need a replacement manager for Wadey's team, he hasn't logged in to the site since September or the forum in the last few months. No response to PMs or email either

In the mean time I'll set his keepers and manage the team until we find a replacement

I sent this in an email too, but some of you haven't actually selected early rookies from last year as keepers, you need to pick them not just reduce your squad

Just out of interest what's happening with this as I noticed the rosters haven't been cut yet?

Sorry for the delay, had a manic week at work last week

Non keepers were cut on Saturday, and all squads are in line with requirements

Next steps will be a 3 round rookie draft after the real NFL draft, so likely in May, then we'll be doing the blind bidding auction for free agents as we've done for the past couple of seasons

Hi everyone

Hope you're all keeping well during the lockdown.

Now the real draft is over, we can get started on our rookie draft, followed by the free agent auction.

I propose the rookie draft begins at 11am on May 11, on v2 as usual. If there are no objections raised by Monday (May 4) then that will be the confirmed draft time. I'll stick to a 24 hour draft clock, and any picks that time out will be picked based on the rookie rankings on ESPN

I'll post the full draft order in the next few days, but as it stands Olly has the first pick (again)

Let me know if any questions

I am happy to trade my 2nd/3rd round picks to move up in the 1st/2nd round and saw him as an ideal candidate as his roster is half empty and thus he could do with extra picks!
