1- I guess so, not sure how you'd judge the trade value though.
2- If you trade for extra budget, you use it when the budget can be used. That seems obvious.

I agree with the majority view on here and on the fleaflicker site

Trades for free agent budget are allowed but the budget can only be used in the normal free agent auction period after the draft. Going forward, I'll declare the free agent budget at the end of the season when the draft order is finalised.

If the two teams would like to proceed with their trade on this basis, please post up the details and I'll try and process the picks transfer on the site, but the budget will just be a record on here

Well the draft is in the books, now we can get on to the best part of the off season for many with our rookie draft. I propose we begin on 17 May, with the draft hosted on this page as usual

The draft order is in the original post, and the free agent auction will follow a couple of weeks after we finish the draft.

Hopefully everyone is returning for the league this year, but if anyone isn't going to, please say so!

We'll try and stick to a relatively quick clock - 24 hours for each pick for the first round seems ok to me, does everyone agree?

I've been asked to put a deadline in place for the trading of free agent auction budget.

The proposal is that no free agent dollars can be traded after 16 May, the day before the start of the rookie draft. Please could you say whether you are in favour or against this rule
