Re: Aviva Premiership - Round 13
What game where you watching he was
1) Quciker getting there
2) Quicker passing it out
3) Wasn't getting caught with the ball every 3/4 rucks.
Tresidder has been over taken by White it seems.

It was the ten seconds he spent at the breakdown with both hands on the ball looking around. He takes too long to make his decisions.
The difference between Youngs and our other nines is massive.

Just watching the tigers program on BT sport, it showed you a close up of some of the players knees after playing at sarries. They were red raw from the pitch

Just got home and seen the score.
Very surprised and pleased with that, we needed a win any which way and managed to get it.

Yappy you're boys made less mistakes and defended hard. Wallace was superb. The highlights are probably worth skipping as other than the Quins try and a great cover tackle from Chrisholm there's not a lot in it for you. Not a lot in it for us either I think we only managed three attacks worth re watching and the only one of those with any flow was the try, a real set of shocking errors from Sloan.

Re: Aviva Premiership - Round 13
Yea Sloan has been brilliant this season but was very poor yesterday. I guess his opposite numbers didn't exactly make life easy! But I think also with Nev at 10 he's used to all the thinking being done for him, especially if Lowes at 13. With the guys in those positions yesterday there was more on him and he didn't cope well.

I'm confused as to who i want to win between Bath/Wasps. If Wasps win it means they pull further ahead of us but on the other hand if Bath win... well it's Bath

Re: Aviva Premiership - Round 13
Have the laws changed on picking the ball up out of the scrum?
In my day, the ball had to be at the feet of the No. 8. When he released his bind the ball was effectively in play. these days the seem to pick it out of the second rows feet. As there is no special dispensation for an 8, surely that is the same as the opposing scrum half picking out from the 8s feet.

it's effectively another Frak up on the laws, in order to improve the game i think they let it go so the ball gets played quicker.

That amazing win against Sarries seems to have given Wasps the confidence to take their game up a level. Very impressed so far!
Talking of Sarries, BT Sport just said Schalk Brits has been red carded...

Interesting that people say Wallace was superb, and good too. From watching him for seasons, however, I do not believe he will ever be international standard. Which is fine, he's a very good club player but replacing Robshaw would be insane

I predict they will lose the lead in the second half and cue Dean Ryan having another pop at the refs

And having said I'm very impressed by Wasps - that's a very small lead for so much dominance...and now perhaps no lead at all...

Re: Aviva Premiership - Round 13
I didn't realise there was wind advantage in the Bath Wasps game. Now they have the wind Wasps seem to be pulling clear.
Thinking about Sale etc - I think Cipriani should have shown a loyalty to repay the faith shown in him by Mr D. Not impressed by the move to Wasps. Now hope we don't see him in an England shirt again.

You see the reactions of some tigers fans to a loss imagine if they supported Irish.

Ref says 'maul defence needs to be better'.
Yeah, but how? Mauls are almost impossible to defend without giving away penalties these days.

Wuss finally won a match they had to win. Maybe they are improving?
This is bad juju for LI. We still need to crack the code so Bath gets relegated. LI being relegated punishes a lot of good folk. Bath being relegated punishes Satan.

As I said before it's a shame the deserved points deductions for salary cap breaches weren't applied as that would make things very interesting ...doctor_grey wrote:Wuss finally won a match they had to win. Maybe they are improving?

LI clearly now have the biggest challenge - apart from already being behind on points we have to play both Wuss and Falcons away and I suspect our injury situation is probably the worst of all three at the moment as well.Sgt_Pooly wrote:Huge win for Wuss, big big games for Falcons & Irish coming up.
