Future England (U20) players
It was Premiership Academy finals day. It sounds like the production line is going well. I thought this was an interesting article:
U18 outstanding players
It sounds like there are a couple of outstanding FHs at this age group (including one from Leicester), an excellent FB (I think English rugby needs a real all-rounder to come through here), an Itoje-like lock, some very good 13s (including Williams from LI, not really mentioned here), a 7, some impressive wingers, and various other promising players. I guess we'll be seeing a few of these next year for the u20s.
More for the club section, but LI obviously have an outstanding group who may get more exposure if the club goes down this year. and Leicester actually seem to have some players coming through, which I think must be good for english rugby.

could you just imagine the comments we'd get if we had an Umage along side the Vunipolas and a Tuilagi or 2 in the England squad

Surely not, we've been reminded for ages that players who have been in a country since they were young are qualified for that country
Umaga was born here! (I assume anyway, given his dad has been here since 1995)

Umaga has an English mum anyway. There is no doubt that these guys qualify, but it won't stop the haters

Jacob will probably end up at 12, but is certainly a bright prospect.

Nick Isiekwe at Sarries looks very much in the mould of Itoje.

Not so sure, he apparently played very well @ 10 when he switched V Wasps in the final.
And has played most of his senior rugby @ 10.

I was basing that on an interview given by Brett Deacon where he was of fulsome praise for Umaga Jr, but indicated that while he was playing 10 for now, as you want to see talents like him get their hands on the ball as soon as possible, that he felt Jacob would be a 12 as he progresses.

As has been said many times, Mallinder Jnr is now cementing himself into the Saints side at a tender 19 years of age. He seams to have everything, pace, size, distribution and a massive boot and best of all composure under pressure.

Williams at LI is also impressing. If both were to be made available for the JWC it would be interesting to see who would be first choice. However, I reckon at least one of them will be taken to Australia.
