Has there ever been a CM who passes as poorly as Milner?! Having an all round mare!

Lallana apparently couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat it seems...

Funes Mori sent off

injured Origi with a nasty tackle then kicked ball away. Assumed was going to be 2 yellows til red brought out the straight red. When see on replay can see why it's a straight red.

Could be the best time to play us, potentially with us having one eye on the Europa and toon fighting for survival. On the other hand we could hand you a whipping. Know what one I'm hoping for.

Funes Mori is a huge tool, punching the badge when he's just potentially broken a 21 year old's ankle.

Feel for Origi, was in fantastic form, likely to have started the Europa League semi-finals and arguably push for a big role with Belgium at the Euros. Talk is that it's not broken, just a sprain which is good long-term but still means he's likely out for the season.

This means Daniel Sturridge of all people is our only fit striker now, I think Benteke will be back before the end of the season, but not 100% sure.

Origi out of Newcastle game. I wouldn't risk playing Sturridge this weekend & potentially getting him injured ahead of the Villarreal game.

Firmino can play in that position and with our current form, the loss of Origi might not too damaging. Would rather have him available than not though. May also be the final chance for Benteke to stake a claim however, it seems evident that he and the club will be parting ways in Summer.

Have to say that I was convinced we'd lose 2-1 with Lukaku scoring and Moreno being sent off. Very sporting of Everton to make us attack the Kop end in the first half.

Hard to say how good we were what with Everton being so abject last night so the Newcastle game could be a lot harder. Toon will be buzzing and we owe them a kicking after our dreadful performance at their ground.

Yeah I suspect Klopp may want to save Sturridge for the Villarreal game, otherwise he'd be playing against Newcastle. Will be interesting to see how he goes, with Henderson and Can still not available squad is looking pretty thin. Imagine he'll want to play basically the same side that started against Everton up against Villarreal, with Origi out for Sturridge. That means Lucas, Coutinho, Sturridge will all probably be rested. We might see a very similar team that started against Bournemouth playing Newcastle. I'd go with:

Ward

Flanagan - Toure - Skrtel - Smith

Stewart
Brannagan - Allen

Ojo                               Ibe

Firmino

Whether Firmino then plays against Villarreal I'm not sure. He's not been in great form recently but his pressing and ability to win the ball back is fantastic. If he's fit enough I'd start him.

If that Liverpool side is put out & we don't win or get a draw, then we deserve to go down. I'm sure there will be some complaints from the Norwich & Sunderland camps, if we won at Anfield, against that kind of weakened side. Man City were there for the taking & we missed that opportunity in midweek, so Benitez will know we can't afford to miss out on this potential chance, thanks to the importance of that Villarreal game.

I'd be surprised if the team put out is much stronger, other than a very small possibility of 4th or 5th, not really fighting for much. Would like to overtake West Ham and Manchester United, but would rather progress in the Europa League. Klopp has been talking up the youth recently and whilst I wouldn't be overly confident, I'd like to think that team could give it a decent go, particularly as a lot of them will be thinking if they do perform they could get a shot at the big semi-finals and/or a place in Klopp's thoughts next season.

I want Newcastle to stay up because I like Benitez, but also want revenge from the poor result earlier in the season. Depends on what kind of Newcastle turn up I think. Bournemouth didn't have much to play for but a very similar team to that put away Bournemouth fairly comfortably.

Newcastle need the win more than we do but I'd be wary of sitting back and trying to hit them on the counter. I think we should try and keep the momentum going as the feel good factor should be filtering down from the first team to the rest of the squad

Would happily see the team start as you have outlined it Crimey. Europa is the priority now and Newcastle are in the relegation zone for a reason, that team is more than capable of getting a good result.

Apparently it's a "sell out" although you will see several thousand empty seats are fans are staying away and theirs a walk out in the 74th/75th minute. You could buy a ticket now for £55 i mean really why would anyone pay that to watch Pulis park the bus Laugh

It's a shame, because if we'd put our chances away against City, Watford and Arsenal, we'd have 8 extra points and be 9th in the table, £3m richer come the end of the season. The sooner we sack Pulis, sell Berahino, and play full-backs the better.

I was offered two free tickets last night and turned them down. Glad I did, as there was more atmosphere at the old Highbury Library than the Emirates. At least the North Bank used to make noise, last night sounded like an England U21 game on a rainy Tuesday night in Derby.

Liverpool - Mignolet, Randall, Lovren, Touré, Moreno, Stewart, Allen, Milner, Firmino, Lallana, Sturridge
Newcastle - Darlow, Anita, Lascelles, Mbemba, Dummett, Tiote, Colback, Sissoko, Towsend, Perez, Cisse

Stronger than expected Liverpool side, I'd take a draw.
