Leicester have 76pts, they could still end up with 85 which is about average. United have won the Prem Title with 75pts. The year they did the Treble they had 79pts. Arsenal did the Double the year before with 78pts.Ent wrote:I'd side with it being quite poor tbh.
League champions lying in mid table, generally poor progress in Europe. Modest points total looks like winning the league.

I don't think they'll get 85, would be another great achievement for them.
Things have changed since the 90s, usually need a lot more than 70s.

Foster dropped? They should really sell him, hes not good enough and would have a lovely English tax on him, with the dollar they could probably sign a much better keeper

Spurs 1-1 WBA - Craig Dawson
Scored at both ends. Classy blocking of Lloris by Sessegnon.

Jan Vertonghen covers 5 yards and angrily gestures at the ref whilst swearing. I hope they ban him but i doubt it.

First time you look at the table and think it's possible Leicester could lose all their remaining games and still finish top.

At the Bournemouth game our fans were chanting "You better beat F**cking Tottenham" to our own players, so i think the message is there of what they want.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
Give credit to Pulis & WBA they have performed better than most against the Premierships top two sides:
Premier League results 2015/16 season
Tottenham 1-1 West Brom Mon 25 Apr
Leicester 2-2 West Brom Tue 1 Mar
West Brom 1-1 Tottenham Sat 5 Dec
West Brom 2-3 Leicester Sat 31 Oct
I reckon next weekend Leicester will draw away to Man Utd and Tottenham will draw or maybe lose away to Chelsea - I think Chelsea will be up for the London derby.

Jamie Vardy gets 1 game ban & 10k fine for swearing at the ref and point.
Be interesting to see if they do anything about Vertonghen since he did the same thing without being sent off.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
Would have been good if this went to the final day.
Would have made it a bit more interesting.
Am sure the 2 to join us will go to the final day at least.
So at least the league will have a little bit of interest.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
Midfielder Dele Alli could miss the rest of Tottenham's season after being charged with violent conduct by the Football Association.
Violent conduct usually incurs a three-game ban, so a guilty verdict would mean the England player, 20, misses all of Spurs' remaining fixtures.

All I care about is the 3 pts, everything else is irrelevant today, but these muppets seem more interested in the returning Pardew, than the here & now.

Think we'll lose today. Pulis' West Brom are a problem for us. They soak it up and play to their strengths.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
They've done the exact opposite, pressing and using skill of Leko (born in 1999!) on the wing. Cresswell is not using basic defending against him but I shouldn't take away from the threat the teenager is offering.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
After a rough start we have played some of the smartest football ive ever seen us play. The second goal we moved the ball around beautifully, keeping possession when under pressure and looking for gaps. Really incredible to see us do that a season following Allardyce

I think you'd have said that that was a banker for Newcastle so id say its no surprise to the other teams. Stoke trying was the surprise
