Re: Progress
Also that promo is class. When you take into consideration WWE have people working on the promos as a full time job, this is WWE standard this promo. Great work again by the progress team.

Re: Progress
The show began with Kris Travis’ music being played as a tribute to him. The crowd gave a standing ovation.

No Disqualification – Pator William Eaver vs Sebastian was stopped after Sebastian was injured.
PROGRESS Tag Team Championship – British Strong Style (“The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne & Trent Seven) defeated The London Riots (Rob Lynch & James Davis) by Pinfall* to win the PROGRESS Tag Team Championship. *NEW CHAMPION*
*During the match, Rob Lynch was hit in the eye, which was already injured, with a cricket bat.
The introduction of the second half was interrupted by Paul Robinson who refused to leave until he had a fight. Jim Smallman granted Paul Robinson’s request and Chuck Mambo came to the ring for the match.
Paul Robinson defeated Chuck Mambo by Pinfall.
2 Out Of 3 Falls* – Zack Sabre Jr defeated Tommaso Ciampa by 2 Falls to 1
*Fall Breakdown: 1st Fall – The first fall ended in a Double Pinfall (1-1), 3rd Fall – Zack Sabre Jr defeated Tommaso Ciampa by Submission.
If The Origin Lose They Must Disband – 8-Man Tag Team – The Origin (“The Showstealer” Nathan Cruz, “The Mexican Sensation” El Ligero, “Liverpool’s No.1” Zack Gibson & Dave Mastiff defeated “The Extraordinary Gentleman” Jack Gallagher, “White Lightning” Mark Andrews, “The Pride Of Wales” Eddie Dennis & Damon Moser by Pinfall.
Following the match, Mark Andrews lead a chant of “Thank you Jack!”
It was announced that PROGRESS Wrestling will be returning to the Brixton Academy in September 2017.
PROGRESS Championship – Triple Threat – “The Star Attraction” Mark Haskins defeated “The Villian” Marty Scurll & “Anti-Hero” Tommy End by Submission to win the PROGRESS Championship. *NEW CHAMPION*
*During the match, Marty Scurll took out two referees with low blows after attacking Tommy End with umbrellas and the championship belt. Jim Smallman attempted to stop Marty Scurll attacking more officials. Marty Scurll planned on hitting Jim Smallman with an umbrella until Jimmy Havoc returned and delivered an Acid Rainmaker to Scurll. Jimmy Havoc then threw the championship belt back to Jim Smallman before flipping off Marty Scurll.
Following the match, Tommy End embraced Mark Haskins in a show of respect. Tommy End then received a “Thank you Tommy” chant from the crowd. Jim Smallman brought Tommaso Ciampa and Jack Gallagher back to the ring to receive a show of appreciation from the crowd

Re: Progress
Unreal again.
Goosebumps when the show started. But Ciampa entrance was the best i have ever been involved with and probably the best entrance i can remember since, Punk's at MITB.
The main event was superb. Buzzing to see Havoc return. Deserved winner in Haskins. The send off to the 3 lads was emotional.
Also claimed a Marty Scrull umbrella. Good evening's work.

Progress Chapter 43 - TropicThunderBastard Results
London Riots def King Of The North
Laura Di Matteo def Chakara - Chakara needs new ring gear spent 90% of the match pulling her outfit out her arsecrack.
Jurn Simmons def Roy Johnson - If you think the Undertaker's entrance is long watching Jurn's will make you re-think it.
South Pacific Power Trip def Ringkampf - Easily match of the night (for me anyway)
During intermission - Chapter 44 - Old Man Shouts at Cloud announced as title.
Mark Andrews won the ThunderBastard match - Paul Robinson was pulled due to injury - Pastor replaced him
Dave Mastiff left The Origin
Sebastian took Pastor's spot
Pastor William Eaver finally snapped and took out Sebastian once Seb was eliminated (everyone left the ring and told him to f**k off got rolled up by Sexsmith)
Pete Dunne retained his Progress title by DQ thanks to Trent Seven breaking up a pin. Post match beat down with chairs on Havoc.
Flash Morgan Webster & Mark Haskins (both cleared to compete) made the save to end the show.

Re: Progress
Tropic Thunderbastard was an exceptional show.
London Riots v Kings of the North was great, hope to see more of the Kings in the future. Fun start with Rob Lynch challenging one of the Kings to a duel.
Laura v Chakara was fine, Laura has gone from being Jinny's assistant to a bad ass motherf*cker! Corn rows and UFC style attire helping. Chakara was impressive.
Roy Johnson v Jurn Simmons was funny, it was streamed on Facebook Live so I watched it back this morning. Jurn's entrance was legit 6 minutes long! The crowd were very animated for this with duelling Massive Jurn/Bodyguy chants. I like both. Chanting for Jurn but buying a Macho Mandem shirt in the interval!
SPPT v Ringkampf was genuinely brilliant. Must see once its on demand. Axel Dieter and Walter are brilliant anyway, as is Travis Banks. TK Cooper showed he belongs and Dahlia Black taking a stiff running big boot from Walter knocking her from the apron into the crowd was unreal! TK did like a 630 degree top rope flip onto Ringkampf on the outside which got the biggest pop of the match.
Thunderbastard;
Andrews the rightful winner. Scurll's antics were great, very face like for the Villain but I fear his days in Progress are numbered so he's just having fun while he's here. Trent Seven out third, got heat. Sexsmith fourth, biggest babyface in the company!
Pastor fifth, replaced by Sebastian for some awesome heat, everyone left the ring in (faux) annoyance at Sebastian stealing Pastor's spot, Sexsmith rolled Sebastian up to eliminate him (reaction was as if Sexsmith had won the whole match!) Sebastian angrily hit his beautiful Spinning Unprettier to Sexsmith and attacked him with a chair until Pastor made the save attacking Sebastian.
Three Origin guys were last in, Zack Gibson to nuclear heat, Nathan Cruz to slightly less so, and Mastiff to cheers. Cruz and Gibson not fans of the Mastiff Banter and thumbs up. They did the old Evolution thumbs up to thumbs down spot and Mastiff turned face!
Sexsmith returning with a double Mr Cocko was epic, making Cruz tap to a condom infused Crossface, final two were Andrews and Gibson and Andrews won with the Shooting Star Press.
Nandos already summed up the title match but Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Haskins returning from injury to set up a faction war was great.
Looking like British Strong Style v Havoc/Haskins/Webster only with Havoc also having issues with the Swords of Essex. Then throwing in Andrews with a title shot on Dunne and SPPT on Trent and Tyler, it's looking congested and maybe a little confusing at the top of Progress.

Just caught up with it, was a fantastic show.
Buzzing that Haskins and Flash are back!
Laura is my favourite women wrestler in progress.
Gutted the Origin is no more Even though it was coming ever since Brixton.
Delighted for Mandrews, well deserved.

Re: Progress
SPPT vs Ringkampf was excellent, probably the best match from an in ring perspective Progress has put on since the Ospreay/Haskins title match
Travis Banks is incredible, I like TK and Black but having recently watched his Fight Club Pro work I'm more and more convinced he's one of the top 3 guys working in the UK right now
On a more serous note what happens first Emmalina debuts on WWE or the SPPT gets their tag title shot? They've been number 1 contenders for at least 5 Chapters now

To be fair Trent and Tyler have been, shall we say, busy with other commitments? Plus it would be a heel v heel match so maybe someone like the Riots or FSU or even Ringkampf (who pretty much became faces during that match) get involved in a 3 or more team match for the titles.

How could i forget match of the night. Always been huge fans of SPPT. Ringkampf have been very good at the first 2 shows as well. Nice that they are bringing class to the sport, now that Jack Gallagher is no longer with us.
SPPT should turn face IMO.

Re: Progress
Chapter 44 Results
1) James Drake def Damien Moser - Was a really short match
2) Dahlia Black def Session Moth Martina - Glowsticks were handed out. Martina gave TK a good kiss but eventually TK punched her in the face after Ref got beer in the eyes.
3) Travis Banks def Jordan Devlin - Was a great match, Banks told TK to go backstage before the match. A lot of the crowd were pro Banks (was no just a sh*t balor chants so that was nice)
Sebastian called out Pastor William Eaver and was planning to hit him multiple times with a homemade Kendo Stick. Chuck Mambo came out and essentially stopped Seb from making Pastor he's biatch it was hilarious segment to watc. Pastor requested a No DQ Match which Jim agreed to.
4) Pastor William Eaver def Sebastian - Pastor was busted wide open. Also when came back from intermission was walking through the entrance and he's back was a wreck from that kendo stick. Seb tried to escape but Ring Crew stopped him
5) Mark Andrews def Shane Strickland - Was some great flippy stuff and weirdly good technical wrasslin. Strickland has learned not to suplex Mandrews and got a Shooting Star Press from his troubles
intermission
6) El Ligero def Nathan Cruz - The world's 1st Lucha Otter won but Cruz attacked post match ripping his mask off. Ligero's entrance was great though.
7) Zack Gibson def Jack Sexsmith by Count out - He got booed to hell as usual. Eventually won by laying him out on the floor and rolled in for the easy count out win - The Crew Staff helped him to the back
Main Event - Jimmy Havoc, Flash Morgan Webster & Mark Haskins def British Strong Style.
Tyler Bate brought the WWE UK Title out with him it's amazing up close.
Managed to get a picture with BSS before the show were lovely guys happy to talk to everyone.
Jimmy Havoc got the pinfall on Dunne and has chosen to face him at Chapter 45 in Manchester in a Deathmatch cos it's his birthday.

Re: Progress
Riddle vs Walter is going to be great
Speculation that last match announced is Havoc vs Ospreay or possibly Swords of Essex

Re: Progress
I'm undecided between Riddle v Walter and Haskins v Dieter Jr being the best match on the card.
A phenomenal card though. Gutted it won't be on demand for a couple of weeks due to all of the Progress management going to Orlando

Re: Progress
Just finished watching Chapter 45. Another cracking show from top to bottom.
The opening match was great, correct winners. Although im gutted love is blindness is no longer British Strong style theme I can see Travis turning face on TK soon.
Interesting to see what happens with the origin, i hope the stable remains and that Cruz/Gibson find some new recruits. Mastiff and Ligero will make a great tag team and could potentially take the shields of Seven/Bate
James Drake and Jack Sexsmith was decent, i hope and suspect both men will be in SSS 2017.
Mandrews vs Ospreay was brilliant. Don't think anyone expected any less!
Gutted that Jinny has changed her theme as well Her and Nixon put on a great match. Im guessing that is Nixon Newell done with progress? Judging by what was said on commentary and the thank you Nixon chants.
Main event is my progress match of the year. Awesome. Brutal. Insane. Pete Dunne seems to get better with every show, only the matter of time before he is a WWE superstar. Jimmy vs Will at the next chapter, could even better it.
