I seem to recall Cal Crutchlow had a very good season with Yamaha about three seasons back then he switched to a factory bike for Ducati and it didn't work out for him. Then he switched to Honda and was largely off the news - but suddenly in the last few months he seems to be back to his best and better. Crutchlow wins his second motoGP race of his career and of the season.

Congratulations to Cal Crutchlow on taking the top spot on the podium for the second time this season. The first time in the rain and this time in dry conditions. Not only did he win but he was going faster than Rossi and not many do that. I can't believe Marquez came off with no pressure as he was a good 5 secs in front of Rossi.Anyway he is champion again, let's see what next season brings.

Always felt Crutchlow and Dovizioso where dealt dud hands when they where essentially used a pawns when Rossi eventually returned to the factory Yahama team. Crutchlow is undoubtedly very fast and I think in the correct circumstances he has a World Championship in him. Repsol Honda really should be looking at Crutchlow to replace Pedrosa

It's the Malaysian Grand Prix this weekend and it's always a somber race for me since the death of the brilliant Marco Simoncelli. Can't believe it's 5 years since we lost the charismatic Italian. #58

Ducati's Andrea Dovizioso's 8 year itch is finally over as the Italian finally secured his second win in the premier class. Yahama duo Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo completed the podium.

Yes the starting grid was Dovi Rossi Lorenzo and that's how it finished after 19 laps but not without a bit of drama in between.First Iannone sliding off whilst in the lead then Marquez who managed to get going again and finish in 13th position.Lorenzo was having a lonely ride in 6th place, not pressuring the leaders when Crutchlow slid off letting Lorenzo finish on the podium.Nine different winners and four makes of bike this season, beat that Formula One.

Really struggling to see the wisdom behind Jorge Lorenzo's move to Ducati. His riding style isn't suited to the Red Beast. Both Dovizioso and Iannone are aggressive whereas Lorenzo's has a very smooth style.
