The 606v2 leagues have always been about trying to maintain a level playing field for all teams involved, by providing more money to the supposed weaker teams (as based on their league position) then it creates parity again, by giving it to the already stronger teams it just creates a divide. JA leagues do that and create a them and us league in which a select few hold onto the spoils, we're not them.

I'll do results if everyone forwards me their tactics

Happy to go with the majority on prize money, don't want to ruin the v2 league ethos !!

I agree with Hero, no real reason to reward the winner with money when they have the glory of being Champions and already one of the best teams in the entire league.

I think azzy is currently unleashing his inner Joey Deacon, that's why he's been awol as of late.

I work with a Real Madrid fan (a real one, like from Spain and everything, actually goes to games when back home) and he said Casemiro is awful.

I prefer quantitative analysis from a large sway of Real fans and qualitative views that from those that matter such as Zidane etc over bite size hyperbole from a 'random chump in Marky's office'.

The Real Madrid season ticket holder who I know from our Madrid offices describes Casemiro as headless. Doesn't like him at all

I work with a Barcelona fan who loves seeing Casemiro in the Real Madrid midfield.

Shall we send our tactics to someone in the Championship to do if they agree? Not sure if Azzy is going to be around, haven't seen him since what he said to me last week.

I just want to finish the season and start on the next now, don't mind waiting a few days for results but it is Thursday and haven't seen Azzy in about a week so think it's safe to say hes busy or whatever.

He must be one of those people that thought Claude Makelele was a Poopie player and Real were a better team without him.

I'm offended you even mentioned Elneny

Elneny is quality (i was offended when Hero said he'd done nothing id assume he hasn't watched since been MOTM endlessly and player of the month twice ). Emre Can is fairly decent the others were for mocking purposes.

He is a good player to a team like Benfica or Porto, but he doesn't have half of the quality you need to have to start in the biggest team in the world... To compare him with one of the best DM in history like Makelele is a joke.

He is essencial to Real because he is the only true DM they got, but that says more of how bad they planed the squad than it says of Casemiro quality.

In my opinion there are something like 10 guys who play the same position you would do a better job than him and I'm only talking about guys Real could buy easily... Weigel, Luis Gustavo, William Carvalho, Camacho, Soriano, Kante, Biglia, etc.

The guy was average in Porto last year, nowhere near their best players like Alex Sandro, Oliver, Jackson or Brahimi... Real Madrid should aspire to have better players in my view...

Every good attacking team needs someone like Casemiro. Someone who does the dirty work and makes everyone around him look better. I'm glad Zidane has not bowed down to pressure to play all the galacticos and is giving the players that deserve it a chance. It is true that he only plays because he is the only real DM that madrid have but I'd still have him over an injury prone Sami Khedira.

Very small budget for all teams to acquire an u21 team, players from which can eventually move up to the full team etc.

Seems fine to me as long as all the money is spent for U21's and not gone into main budget.

Sounds like a cool idea, especially if it keeps Hero in the league.

It'd have to be an exclusive pot for the younger players.

No need to pander to keep people in.

I think it should be up to the individual. If they want a U21 squad thats exempt from injury that's fine, if not they can add the money to their first team budget.

At least we know that Hero will do tactics etc though, we may not know that about a new member of the league.

It's not to keep me in at all, just trying to put forward ideas to improve the league.

Think it should be limited in numbers too.. About 5 sounds OK to me

Is U21 too old? There's plenty of players of that age in the league. Maybe U19?

By the way, if we decide on one can we confirm a squad minimum that we must have before the season starts?

20 as per the original rules makes sense

Im not interested in having a U19/U21 side it will just end up like last time. Just squad fillers at best. No one uses them if not already a big name or just lawyers them.
