I could see Te Rure at 12 with Piers Francis at 10.

Some team that would be. Joking aside, has anyone heard which players the SRU are sending to London Scottish now the relationship is back on track?

The spelling and grammar in that article makes me like him even less.

Fes, I have spent a large part of the last three weeks marking GCSE English papers; don't get me started. Just don't.

Re: 2016/17 - Scottish Transfers [Edinburgh|Glasgow|Exiles]
Alex Toolis has left Edinburgh to sign for Melbourne Rebels.
He's a good 2nd row but with limited opportunities at Edinburgh it's no surprise he's off. Hopefully he'll get regular gametime there and may even come back in a few years to push for a Scotland place.

Byron McGuigan has signed for Sale.
He seems to be making a decent career for himself having been fairly average at Glasgow!

You mean "at the lower end of World Class at Glasgow".
He was just one of these players who wasn't particularly good at anything. He was just "there". As an Edinburgh fan, you'll know of what I speak.

Bit late in reply but if you haven't seen already, five players are being sent down to LS. Hooker Cameron Fenton, back-rower Ally Miller, scrum-half Hugh Fraser, centre Tom Galbraith and wing Ben Robbins. Apparently, they're all doing well so far and the coaches like what they see.
Thanks for the Alex Toolis news. Was wondering where he'd end up. OP updated.RDW_Scotland wrote:Alex Toolis has left Edinburgh to sign for Melbourne Rebels.
