I think he was part of a tag team match so all four guys in the match were promo'ing in his locker room, then someone dropped in, which lead to just about the whole roster joining in

I'd forgot about Dr Shoe and the RKO's but I think Mark Palmer's well is probably my favourite from the old 6WF days

That's the thing we seem to have lost over the years

There would be 4 or 5 back and fores going on at the same time, in rapid fashion, shorter more responsive ones that led to that kind of improv vibe. I do think we miss that. It's a shame

But that's when seemingly none of us had a job where we had to do any work Laugh

I look back now and think "I just promoed and chatted all day, every day.... I was seriously underultilised" Laugh

Ha ha, i think this site is banned at my work so i have never been able to get on during the day really, so i miss some of that.

I did once write a promo which called Marky a Kumquat once as it annoyed me that he kept mentioning waiting for me to promo in a B&F between me, him and Uryu when i never said i would B&F.

It also had about two/three paragraphs of Faith stating the he never said he would come out here so why didnt Uryu and Adamson just chat bewteen themselves and stop worrying whether i was gonna appear or not.

The rest of the promo must have been alright as it made it into the show, with a few choice edits.

I honestly have no idea how I used to be able to promo at work, I've barely got time to contribute much to TT these days

I have hundreds of half written promos or ideas.

Because i think of them walkingbto and from work, so in my head they sould amazing but 5 hours later when i get the time to write them i can never get them to read as well as they sound.

I write bits and pieces in my notes on my phone. Just lines or ideas I want to use
Then I sit down in the evening and throw it all together
Then do one read through to iron out any thing that doesn't make sense or doesn't flow properly

That's what I mean though - back on BBC 606 days I never would have been so meticulous. Just type and post. That's how you ended up with more silly stuff like the well. Also I don't think you could edit? Only the person who posted the article could delete posts. So the errors stayed there Laugh

I kind of plan my first promo in my head and then write it in work (it usually comes out totally different) then I just react to whatever the response is by my opponent is really, so a bit of both worlds

I had to stop efedding because I moved jobs and wasn't at a desk anymore but there were days for the first few years that I would blow off doing work just to chat on the 606 site and the 6CW site, write matches, promos and the 6CW Crossfire show I did and I wonder why I'm still a Clerical Officer Laugh

I write a few choice lines, usually the ending and then flesh it out. I do get annoyed if there is a spelling mistake or something!

Promo up Nando. Struggling with my Joshua one. I started it off as a note that Allen finds in the corridor but that seems a bit naff. I think Joshua needs to be off screen but I don't want that to stop me promoting as him if I have a good idea.

Got a few days to come up with something. I really want it to be a video message and use past matches to prove that a wounded animal is still dangerous. But I haven't had the time to go through and find a few choice ones to place in-between the words I have come up with

I usually do the Nay thing, I think of lines whilst walking or sitting around, then when it comes to writing down I either realise it's crap or can't actually remember what I had thought of. It's seriously frustrating.

I think Enforcer's locker room happened because he wrote a promo from his locker room, but somebody interrupted him thinking he was in the ring, then it snowballed.

Bane was Hobo, but it was supposed to be Nemesis, who then couldn't return, hence why it didn't make much sense and Hobo had to have put on loads of weight to be so much bigger.

Uryu: Cheers, go and get out of here before you are stuck on an anti drug program.

Rasta: A'ight catch ya later mon' hope you both get well soon.

Uryu: yeah...good luck in your match

Rasta: Huh? ohh yeah.

*Rasta staggers out the room as Uryu sets up the camera in near pitch black as he sighs*

Uryu: Give me a minute, still not 100%. Clarissa is still in ICU for those who want to know, they think she has a cracked...oh the bone that runs down your chest, sternem is it? She will get an X Ray in the morning as it's now three in the morning and I have not fallen asleep because I do not want to. I want Cassius Zhi to listen to what I have to say.

*Uryu coughs and groans a little*

Uryu: I will be out of here in two days for those that care, minor concussion is all that it is. Cassius, Cassius, Cassius. I said that all I wanted to do was win the 6WF Undisputed title and if it meant going through you then I was up for it. A few hours ago I stopped you winning by hitting a Split Second, saving my opportunity at the title. Normally other people would understand why I did it and maybe attack the steps in frustration. You however went much further, you attempted to attack fans, you threw the steps around and broke an announce desk. If you had stopped there I would have simply tried to talk to you and calmed you down. You then attacked me and attempted to Shockwave me off the stage. If you had actually succeeded then I would have asked for a match at the next PPV which I think is..erm..War? oh I dunno the point is I would have asked for a match. You then decided to go one step further, she came out to protect me and stop you from doing something stupid. What did you do?

*Uryu shoves a vase filled with tulips to the floor, smashing it*

You Shockwaved her into the room next to me! You have seriously hurt someone who was not even in the match and was only looking out for me because she cared about my safety! Cassius as soon as I get out of here I am going to find you. I am going to find you...hurt you...maim you and show you that even I have a monsterous side deep in my heart. I want you to take that contract I gave you a few weeks back, tear it up and dump it in the bin because the pain I am feeling, the pain I want to give to you tenfold will be far beyond a Tibetian Torture Match, miles beyond Hardcore Hell, I will bury you so deep in pain, suffering, agony and anguish that you will know what I have suffered because of your own actions. Cassius if you even think of trying to calm me down or apologising to me then you can forget it. We are way, way past that and this is a warning. I am going to injure you, make you bleed, hospitalise you and make sure you never forget what I will do to you, that is a promise!

The Angel is staring at the ground, face-down, mic to his lips...
