It's Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Even though the sound of it
Is something quite atrocious
If you say it loud enough
You'll always sound precocious

Wim going to be brutally honest, I'm not interested in a league at the moment. Sorry to let you down, but I think it's better this way than me taking part and not caring.
I'm sure I'll be back around at some stage.

I think there's an apathy throughout at present by the look of it, put together the pages yesterday and look at the level of response on the board.

Re: The Lotion League Locker Room
I was going to create my team page last night but just didn't feel great.
The interest is extremely lacking it seems anyway, only a few of us seemed to be really into it, a few others haven't been round much at all for whatever reason.

Guilty as charged
I can't get excited about a league where I know precisely one player on the team I've been given

Might aswell call it quits if that's how you lot feel. No point in hero and miky creating all these pages and after a week everyone losing interest and not doing tactics etc.

I'd have Villarreal over Bilbao personally. And maybe add in Bayer Leverkusen but think they might be a bit stronger than the other teams.

I think the Fenerbache squad is more well known than the Shaktar one. I can name Van Persie, Skrtel, Van der wiel off the top off my head. Shaktar I can only think of Srna and Bernard.

Re: The Lotion League Locker Room
I understand not all people like the championship teams, I can't see as much building in the teams mentioned that's why they weren't picked previous. Plus everyone didn't like the fact that the the teams were foreign and they didn't know as many players.

Re: The Lotion League Locker Room
In the Funky Bunch League, I think Hero had the youngest team so I feel like it would be him and Nando who would have the best team if we did Championship as they probably have the most knowledge of world wide leagues and maybe La Liga for you Nadz.

I don't consider myself a massive scout like hero or nando, I mostly go after already established players unlike them, who go after the young wonderkids.

Re: The Lotion League Locker Room
I'm definitely more interested in Championship teams, that's not my issue. Obviously if it is an issue for others then definitely do Europa League teams.
Sorry for leading you all down that path by suggesting that sort of league and hope it goes well. No doubt I'll be back, but for the time being I'm not going to be involved.
Good luck

Re: The Lotion League Locker Room
No worries trebs. What I don't get is people want longevity. And to get that you have to start off with crap players and slowly improve them. If you want to start off with mid level players/teams then the league will not last as long as the one with the championship teams as it will be easier to get the top level players like CR7. Sure most of us know Poopie all about the Championship irl, but a couple if nice early investments from foreigns could play dividends later on.

If the demo was playable online most would not buy the full gsme You just get some practice in on Pro Clubs mode trebs. Play some matches on fifa 16 to get used to it as it is the hardest game mode to master imo. We are gonna need to be in tip top shape when the ja guys start playing 17.

I don't like the new penalty system the rest of set pieces is great.
Didn't find much pace abuse unless had it on Amateur tbh.

It doesn't help playing offside traps you always lose 5-10 yards regardless if get it wrong your going to concede.

Re: The Lotion League Locker Room
Hey, so I've decided that now is the time to set up a new league. I feel refreshed and good to go.
The idea is that it will be an easy one to run, not too much effort required to make it work.
The teams will be low Premier League sides, with a plan to go on for two seasons before rebooting/resetting/doing something else.
Teams will be randomly allocated, with £25m initial budget irrespective of the side. If there is an odd number of managers (which I'm hoping for - then one will miss that week and be the voter). If there is an even number then we will have to work something out.
Foreign transfers will be done in the standard way, using Transfermarkt prices.
But lawyers will be different, in the sense that they don't exist. Instead, you can sell ONE player per week at 75% of TM value of your choice. Any subsequent releases are at 50%. But anyone looking to sign any of these players must pay 75% price. So there could be some bargains in there and hopefully this will stimulate domestics.
In addition to this, everyone can add £2m every week to their budget, win, draw or lose.
Tactics will be short, 150 words INCLUDING everything: substitutes, team talk and so on. And your inital squad must contain 23 players (any players on loan are considered permanent deals, so for example, Loic Remy is a Crystal Palace player).
During the season, you may have up to 25 players in your squad. There will be FOUR injuries per week, taken at random. Once a player has been injured three times in a season, they are immune from injuries for the rest of the season - to prevent me deliberately injuring Pogba every week.
The other thing I'd be keen for is some sort of rewards scheme to make people want to finish in certain positions, I'd like relegation for the bottom two and something for finishing top four, just to add something to play for.
I'll take on the injuries, but I could do with some help:
Injuries - Trebs
League Table
Transfers/Players In League
Releases
Teams
Bournemouth
Swansea
WBA
Crystal Palace
Watford
Middlesbrough
Sunderland
Burnley
Hull
(Southampton if required)

Re: The Lotion League Locker Room
I can do the league table, I’m willing to join.
I’m guessing these rules are what you wanted all along? We were mostly all ready to start until people weren’t around as much/got busy and then we stopped it of course.

Re: The Lotion League Locker Room
Miky it was nothing to do with the rules for me. I just genuinely wanted a break and didn't want to join a league at that time. I don't know why others didn't join
I've literally just written this up as a starting point. Tried to get straight there with most of it to stop all the deliberating. I just want to get on with it.
