Miky - Just find out their pre-update prices and make Trebs pay that. It would be unfair to make him pay higher prices or take advantage of decreased prices too with re-bidding.

Also GSC it's easy to say that and i should i know but i also don't want to severe relationships, who knows, we may need a spare manager at some point for example and Trebs may be available.

Well that's Trebs sorted only 1 of 2 actually went up (cheeky trebs )

Ok the bids make sense, im taking Trebs' bid at the value when he sent it to me, meaning he can afford all 3 players. I'm not taking the cash off Lingard like he asked though.

Will type them up as soon as he confirms he is happy with them 2 players.

All bids are binding fella So no backing out so it's them 2 players & Lingard (make sure he's added in a 2.5m deduction fee for a 3rd tp like everyone too )

What you mean a £2.5m deduction fee?

A 3rd TP is a 2.5m optional extra.

So all who have bought 3 players have to pay 2.5m on top of their money bids.

I presume you're pulling Treb's pudding as the rules don't state that, but if not I'm scuppered too.

Pre-season TPs: Up to 3 signings each, done on a draft style with highest bidder getting player. Multiple rounds until all managers have made 3 signings (unless a manager opts not to sign 3). There needs to be space in the squad to sign players

Regular TPs: 2 per week + one for each lawyer accepted. 3rd TP available for £2.5m in each of the first 2 weeks of season

I've sold players in order to fund the bid for a 3rd TP, I'd also have bid differently on the first round if I'd been only going for 2 players.

If you want a 3rd TP it will cost £2.5m - If you want to re-bid for the 2nd round you can but they will be taken at the new prices as they changed after the 1st round of bidding

Those rules clearly differentiate between these Pre-season TPs and in-season TPs, the mention of the £2.5m penalty only referenced in the in-season section.
I'm not getting penalized for you two fecking up, I'm doing as the rules state so either lump it or find someone else.

I thought we already stated it on the homepage that if you want to have a 3rd bid up you need to deduct 2.5mill. Looks like the confusion is coming from when the 2.5mill is deducted.

I'll take full responsibility for the lack of communication on £2.5m.

Don't leave the league Hero i think it was something we came up with after which should have been added to the rules.

I think we have to stick with it though as people have accommodated for it within their bids and i know some haven't.

The most simple way to avoid these kind of internet ***** fights is to put it in writing. In no way is the 3rd bid costing 2.5m in writing. In fact it literally says the 3rd bid costing 2.5m is available the first 2 weeks of the season, not preseason. I don't see how you can reasonably enforce that.

Having had a glance back I can't see where its explicitly stated it applies to bids either.

Thing is GSC it's ok you saying that mate but i'm the one who takes the flack for it whatever way we decide to do it.

If we take the extra cost away, knowing some people have considered that then they are understandably going to be annoyed.

Same with if people haven't and then we apply it.

I've put a lot of time into the league already which i am happy to do but i dont want anyone to leave either, because otherwise it will never get started, which it feels like it wont at the moment because we never decide on things easily.

It was clearly in the rules you wrote though. I followed them as did Trebs yet we're the ones being told that if we don't like something then we can feck off.

Nando - you've got it completely wrong on the £2.5m on TPs.

When it was discussed, it was clear that the £2.5m relates to the normal weekly TPs in the first two game weeks and not the drafts at the start.

At some point you're gonna annoy someone it's inevitable.

But as far as I can see the rules outright say it applies to in season TPs for the first 2 weeks. And it was never explicitly stated it applies to bids.

You might annoy others but Hero and Trebs followed the rules and those are the line in the sand.

Well then you should of explained that properly as ive bought my players around keeping money back to pay that fee when i could of gone and bought higher value players.

I screwed up becAuse I was being rushed. It's my fault because I've not had anyp spAre time.

I was under the impression the 2.5 was to be paid for the 3rd in the draft that was Agreed but not commented on the rules page.

So me and hero should be dequAficated.
