Re: Edinburgh V Treviso
Treviso are shocking, I mean we're doing well and are 4 tries up, but they are making it very easy.

Re: Edinburgh V Treviso
All a bit too easy for Treviso, and it came from a messed up restart (a Scottish speciality)

Had to be a yellow for the penalty on their 5m.
Got a try eventually though!

Re: Edinburgh V Treviso
I'm sorry, I'm sure he's trying but this new prop is not cut out for this level of rugby. Looks unfit. Weak in the tackle, poor scrummaging, dodgey line out lifting and can't kick a ball on the ground

This is his first pro appearance to be fair to him...
Plus you can't expect a prop to be able to kick!

Tovey would be the 2nd best Scottish 10 if he had a Scottish granny

Here comes Nathan Fowels. A small man with a big ego. The term bawbag is thrown around far too much these days but it's apt in this situation

Our lineout is truly awful this season.
Even when we win our own ball it is so scrappy

According to Hastings, gilchrist and toolis are at the top of the pro 12 table of line out completion

Re: Edinburgh V Treviso
No idea.
Think toolis has had a good game but gilchrist has been quiet. Still not living up to all the hype of him being the Scotland captain. He's just a big slow lump

Re: Edinburgh V Treviso
Well that Treviso team was exactly what we needed. We were still terrible in a lot of areas but that should give us some confidence

Re: Edinburgh V Treviso
Important result there, will be massively important for confidence. Opposition weren't the best, but Edinburgh aren't going to become a complete team overnight so a win like this is going to be a huge boost.
Wingers on the score sheet
Congratulations boys, they kept at it and heres hoping we can build from this

What is clear is that we need to build the team around Tovey at 10.

Nasi Manu said in the Scotsman this morning that he only took a bang on the shin and should hopefully be fine.

Any news on Watson? He really didn't look happy when he came off and had a look of "oh dear, that's me out for a while"

Re: Edinburgh V Treviso
I believe he had a jaw injury a while back, which included getting metal plates put into his face, and he was holding his jaw when he went off. Could be out for a while.
