sensible changes there notch but the system is at the mercy of young lads being uprooted and moved out of their comfort zone which unfortunately isnt really popular (especially in Ulster and Connacht)

If the lad is in anyway decent Ulster should be offering him a contract, given our paucity of backrows

Munster have a few centres who may be ready in another year or two. Deasy could make the transition there and I though Dineen did good in his one and only game in Ravenhill this year. We do need to import one at the moment though. Think we should send a lock to one of Connacht or Leinster. We pity them like

I also think that Felix Jones has shown, that a Leinster Way bred back, will be taken on and his game improved on - when moving to Munster. Who'd have thunk it - not so long ago?
We really have to lose our provincial bias... players and fans, if we want our country to reach the next level.
Munster, Leinster and Ulster, are now, very attractive career-propositions to all Irish players. Not just NIQ's.
Spread the wealth from within.

Stand,
The big problem with being in the Academy is he would have to be based in Belfast, which considering he's at Trinity, I'm guessing he doesn't want to be.

Well that is really the rub. When you consider the age at which young players are coming through now 22 is quite old to be going into the academy and he may not like the salary on an academy contract at 22. Who knows
